Kilauea (Big Island) erupting 24/06/03

Kilauea volcano just started erupting. I am posting this as it might impact travel plans to the Big Island and where you can see lava flow etc.
It will depend on how intense it gets but it is something you might want to watch if you are planning to travel to the Big Island as part of an Aulani trip.

We will be on the Big Island in less than 2 weeks before our stay at Aulani. Hopefully this doesn't impact our trip!

Eruption is already over. It was also in a remote and inaccessible area.

We were at Aulani a few years ago when a series of eruptions began. We had a reservation at the famous hotel on the edge of the volcano caldera. Needless to say, the reservation was cancelled because of smoke and fumes. So we stayed a few days longer at Aulani, which is not the worst thing that can happen to somebody.
