kidsuite w/grandma? will it work?

Hi all,

I'm only slightly frantic here as you can tell... If I understand the situation right, only kidsuites are left at HR for our dates (3/5-3/7). We travel with my mother. We have two boys who will be 3 and 5. Would it work to put my mother in the kids part and the four of us in the main part (has a king bed and pullout queen sofa I think)? Are there two separate rooms with the door closeable in the kidsuite?

Any advice would be appreciated.

We just stayed in a kid's suite at the Portofino Bay and I believe that they are set up the same way. There is a door in between the two rooms and each room has it's own tv. The kids portion of it has two double beds, so really, grandma could sleep in one and the five year old could sleep in the other.

We are currently in a kids suite at Portofino and the setup is a king bed in the main room and two single beds in the kids room.

So it looks as though there are different configurations of kids suites

We stayed in the kids suite at the HRH. It was lovely. The kids room was bright and had two twin beds, a table, television and chair. Your mom would be comfortable in there and perhaps one of the kids could share a room with grandma. (if she wants to!)

The regular room is very large with a king bed and pull out sofa. Plenty of room for four. The only down side would be that your mom would have to walk through your room to get to the bathroom.

I have not been in one, but I thought the bathroom had two doors.

Only one bathroom door at the HRH. We stayed in a kids suite and that was the only downfall. The kids had to walk through our room to get to the bathroom.
