Kids TS meal desserts

Looking at the dessert menu for the kids, I'm seeing a trend of either fruit or ice cream, and thats it. My DD5 is a good fruit eater, and I know she will want that on a few occasions, but she will want a "real" dessert too. She can't have ice cream, so I'm wondering if they will be able to provide a small something for her instead. I know if its your birthday they have cupcakes that they will give you with a candle in it - would it be possible to get this? Without the candle of course!

I cant really see it being a problem most restaurants like to try and be accommodating.

I do feel that all Disney restaurants either table or counter are very lacking in choice for children. What really bugs me is that kids have to have processed chicken nuggets yet adult meals the nuggets are chicken breast. Why?

I bet they're cheaper. The kids meals cost a lot less than the adults' meals.

I would definitely ask because I think those celebrate cupcakes are everywhere, so it should not be hard to sub. Also, many restaurants have a "tofutti" option for ice cream.
