We are really annoyed with this, because this is the reason why lapbars get put on,these rides.

We are currently at MK. Park closed a few min ago, amd we were one of the last boats through POTC. Three of us were in a boat alone, following behind an empty boat; directly in front of that one was a boat with four men (college age/late teenager years).

These guys got out of the boat several times, walked THROUGH scenes, grabbed at things. We actually yelled at them once. But the three us us were angry as heck to see them grab the keys from the dogs mouth at the end of the ride. As soon as their boat pulled up, they hopped out and started walking fast. We yelled at the CM to stop them (the sensors apparently never went off, what the CMs told us) but they ran. A swarm of security came out but the kids were gone. We told the CM s what we saw, but we have no idea if the keys were recovered.

And this is why lapbars happen on these rides. Jerks.

Sorry for mispellings, on my phone.

I often wonder what makes people think they're entitled to behave like this. Idiots.

That is sad. They got in the water? Wow. I would never think to do that. How deep was it? Knee Deep? Crazy.

They didnt get in the water, but were climbing out of the boat and walking through scenes. They attemped to pull the scarf/rag off of the hairy leg pirate, but they couldnT keep a grip on it.

I probably would have screamed "SECURITY" as soon as they started that crap and done it through the rest of the ride. Someone probably wasn't watching the cameras since it was the last ride and all that.

We yelled but they didn't care. Security told us after that the sensors never went off in the ride. I am sure they are going through camera tapes now...I amjust shocked anyone would do something so stupid to begin with.

I don't get how if they were doing it in multiple scenes these sensors never signaled anything wrong. That's a major flaw in their safety systems...

Hmm...grumblegrumblegrumble... I really have a major problem with this. There's so many what if's at play here. Even what these idiots did aside, would someone have responded if you had been screaming that you were hurt? That someone was having a heart attack or seizure?

Not really sure why no one saw what they did; the CMs certainly reacted after the kids left, and I am sure they looked at the dog to notice the keys were missing.

I just do not understand the "thrill" or "fun" in getting out of a ride and destroying thongs.

I agree I am shocked they were not seen.

I really don't like some people.

Agreed, once again that "entitlement" thing that ruins it for everyone else. And why weren't the security cameras working? Pete's sake, if these kids were college kids, their parents sure are wasting a boatload of bucks on their non-education.

Makes me so angry!!! Some people are just so freakin' pathetic it disgusts me! And I'm sure if they could read any of this they'd be laughing about it. That's what makes it worse. People like that are too warped or at the very least, too immature to grasp that they've done anything seriously wrong- on any level.

I know it's not the proper reaction, especially since my aim is horrible :lmao: and I'd hate to destroy my own property trying to stop idiot thugs, but I'd probably be tempted to hurl one of my heavier camera lenses at them. A serious lens to the side of the head might make them think twice about doing something so foul.

I really hope they catch them and go after them legally, b/c thousands in fine and potential jail time may be the only way people like this can start to learn that the world doesn't revolve around them and that there are serious repurcussions for pulling stunts like this.

I really bet someone is going to lose their job over this, or be demoted at least. I think someone plain and simply was not watching when they should have been.

I also don't think it's entitlement, that would be if they said they were paying customers and should have the rights to do what they did because "I spent XXX money..." I think this was stupidity coupled with that "I wonder if we can get away with it" mindset. Wrong either way.

I think they should have taken descriptions and radioed them to the main gates so security could have been on the lookout. I think they could have gotten then on some kind of criminal charge, destruction of property or something.

I just looked how many "I"s are in this, sorry I'm (:rotfl2:) very irritated about this.

Wow, what the heck is wrong with people?

I was young and foolish once, but it would have NEVER occurred to me to do something like that!
