Kids Stay and Play vs Free Dining

We have a family of 5, 2 adults and 2 kids over the age of 3. We are already booked at POP and have the dining plan. We want to keep both POP and the regular dining plan opposed to the quick service since we already have breakfasts at the castle, chef mickeys, and a bunch of epcot restauants booked.

Does anyone know what would be the better deal? Kids Stay and Play at POP and pay for the dining plan or the free quick service for the family and upgrade to the regular dining plan. I believe the upgrade will be about 250 as we are staying 10 days.

We are a family of 5 with 3 kids that fall under the kids play free promo. If I switch to the free dining promo than I will save an extra $70.00.

If it is the stay and play promotion. Free dining will probably be a better deal for you. You may end up needing to switch hotels. though. If you have the Disney Visa and it is the stay play and eat promo they are about a wash. This is figuring for 11days 10 nights.

Free Dining is going to run you 2182.70 with the regular dining up grade-

If you have the Disney Visa and do the kids, stay, dine, play deal- It is 2352.90

Regular Kids stay and play 2551.00

Are my rough calculations. Free dining saves you almost 400 dollars over your current offer. I would use free dining it is 24 dollars a day to upgrade to the dining plan.

We are a family of 7 (2 rooms at POP) and so we booked the Free QSDP for one room (the one with my husband and 2 teens) then the second room was booked with me and my 3 youngest (all under 9) so we saved by booking the Kids Play, Stay and Dine for free on it. The CM we got on the phone when we called to get the Visa FD deal ran the numbers and gave them to me before confirming any switch...she's the one that let me know we'd save sticking with the Kids promotion on that one room....very nice of her
