I know everybody likes Crocs for adults, but what about children? :confused3 What kind of shoes do you recommend for two boys 12 and 6. They have tennis shoes they wear to school. But I'm afraid they might get blisters from all the walking. We will be going January 1-7. :cool1: We might have to get a stroller for the 6 year old while we are at Epcot and MK. Thanks for all the advice.

My DD 8 always wears tennis shoes in the parks. Never had a problem with blisters.

My DD8 loves her Crocs for the parks too. Great for when it rains and she must walk right through the puddles  :goodvibes

Our kids wear their running shoes and sandals every day we are at WDW they have never had any problems with blisters or anything. I would just get them a really good pair of runners to take and make sure they wear them around for a couple weeks to get used to them before you go. My kids wear adidas runners we spend about 80 dollars on thier runners and make sure we get good comfortable shoes. Our kids are 9 5 and 3.

Sport sandals, such as Nikes, Merrells, Kamiks, Keens, etc. You can find them on sale at sporting goods stores right now. Make sure that they have a heel strap so that they will stay on on coasters. They are cool, have good arch support, and can traipse through puddles, fountains, and KRR with no problems, and you won't have to pack socks. My boys have lived in them in warm weather since they were little.

Thanks for all the info. I guess they will just wear the tennis's they have. Maybe we will be okay. My 6 year old doesn't like to walk much, so I know I will have trouble with him. But maybe he will forget all about complaining when he gets there and sees Mickey. It is our first trip for both of our kids. It is DH and my first time in 13 years.

Don't forget the moleskin in case blisters do start.

Lots of boys were wearing Crocs at Disney earlier this month. I know lots of boys who have lived in them around here this summer. My DD9 refuses to wear anything else. We all wore them at Disney and they were great especially after water rides! Sneakers are awful once wet IMO! Lots of the boys seemed to be wearing socks with their Crocs.
:tinker:

What color Crocs for the boys? I have a 7 year old and a 3 year old. Little one would look cut in alot of colors, but I am not sure about what the "older" boys are doing?
