My cousin wants to take her little one to DW for spring break. Her fiance wants to take his child in the summer. Is it possible for two different kids to share an annual pass if they are traveling at different times?

Uh, no. Every ticket sold by Disney is intended for the use of one person.

My understanding is they take your finger print, and every human has a different set of finger prints so I don't see how this will work

I'll just say this:
The history of use of that pass is embedded in it.
If a CM is suspicious, they can check the history and ask the child a simple question like "how was your trip back in April". Then the kid says "I wasn't here in April" and you do the walk of shame to buy a ticket when they confiscate the AP.
Not saying that will happen, just saying it could. I can't imagine the price difference is great enough to be worth the worry.

Ugh technically yes, as they do not do finger scans on kids, but it is stealing and I would never with our ap's. I need a clear conscience and do not steal to save a few bucks. But I am sure some do not care and do. Tell your cousin it is wrong.

But how well he or she get in if the finger prints don't match the person he or she is sharing with

They don't scan kids fingers

My dd has been getting her finger scanned for awhile and she's 13.

Oh I did not know that

Yup I have had APS for four years and each time they never scanned them only adults. I go a lot every year and never had an issue with why weren't they scanned so I guess it is usual. I wouldn't care if they had to do it and would rather if it stopped this kind of sly thinking and doing

So this can easily be done then but I would not dream of it personally

Me either. What is that teaching the child you know

First word on the back states 'nontransferable'. When that ticket does not work in the turnstyle (for numerous reasons) the parent will be asked to show ID/purchase info for that AP. When that doesn't happen, bye-bye AP, and the group may be escorted off WDW property for fraud.

They don't scan kids tickets, but the AP will have the child's name on it. They are non transferable. You need to buy 2 tickets for 2 kids.

No! They take a picture of the pass holder and a picture is displayed (facing the CM) when the AP holder passes through the entrance.

My child is 3 and they still need a picture of her as well as mine for a my pass.

Sent from my iPad using DISBoards

I've never had my picture taken for an AP and neither have my children.. Not sure what you're talking about it..

you cant scan a childs finger print because their fingers grow... im assuming they use sort of an image match technology rather than using the actual finger print.

They don't take your picture for an AP. They do put your name on the AP, so if it is a boy/girl combo, they could face some questions at the turnstile. Also, if one of the children is over 9, they will have to get an adult AP, which does have the finger scan attached. I can't imagine that the cost of 2 child's tickets is that much of price difference than the cost of one AP.
