Kids say the Darnedest things

we just got back from a trip to Toronto. While in the car DS asks the inevitable question... "Are we there yet?" My standard answer to this is "just a litle further." He tried to ask me what that meant, but couldn't spit out the word further. DW tried to correct him "it's FURther, FURther; like dog fur."
His response--- "oh. (short pause) Are we dog fur?" I almost drove right off the Mass Turnpike.
