My daughter is lucky enough to have a queen size bed. She loves it, but wants some fun sheets like her brothers have. I have found plenty of places to buy fun queen size sheets if I wanted to spend at least $80 for the set. However, I'd prefer to spend about half that! Anyone have any suggestions? I checked Amazon and Overstock and didn't find what I was looking for at all. She'd like something with butterflies or Princesses.
:goodvibes

I have always had the same problem! I'm interested to see if anyone has ever found the queen size in designs for the kids.

Good thread!!

Thanks,
chedtoon:cheer2:

I've seen fun designs at Target. More often during the holidays and in all sizes. Not princesses but still something other than plain or patterned sheets.

My Target has queen size sheet sets for kids. They do not have licensed characters on them, but they have fun designs. Ususally around $25.

Try JC Penney . . . they have a lot of cool bedding . . . hearts, flowers, stars and more. A lot of their stuff is bed-in-a-bag or room-in-a-bag.

My DD 6 has a queen bed as well, and I found her sheets at walmart. They were High School Musical and they were on sale for $8.50!!!!!! Yea I got the last set they had or I'd have bought more.....

$8.50 is quite the bargain! I never get that lucky!

I'll have to visit Target and Kohl's this week to see what patterns they might have. My daughter is getting tired of the pink and purple sets I keep rotating on her bed. I just want to have something fun, yet at an affordable price!

Thanks for the suggestions!

You're in NH? Do you have Christmas Tree Shops near you? They get Bed, Bath and Beyond closeouts. Also Ocean State Job Lot gets a lot of home stuff.

I wish I had room in one of my kids rooms for a queen size bed!

If you can not find the sheets, buy the pillowcases. I do it all the time. I purchase a particular set (sheets and pillowcases) for my bed then buy an extra set of really nice pillowcases that I "must" have. My best friend and I would do this in college when we could not afford the expensive designer labels. We bought the affordable sheet set then splurged on the designer pillowcases. ;)

Target has some jersey sheet sets on sale for $16 this week. They had some with flowers in queen. My dd also has a queen and it is hard, and I won't pay a ton either. Disney.com sometimes has some on sale you can snag, too. I've gotten some flannel mickey and gang ones that way. I've also just bought the pillowcases like the pp said.

I second this . . . DS15 still uses the Pokemon pillow cases we got him maybe 10 years ago. They were about $12 each at the time; cheaper than buying the whole sheet set.

Two years ago Pottery Barn had the most awesome Superman sheets . . . for $80. :scared1: They were cute, but not $80 cute.

Pottery Barn had some amazing Star Wars sheets that my son wanted, but I told him no way unless they went on a deep clearance!

Thanks for all the suggestions! The bargain hunting begins tomorrow!

I concur-Target has AWESOME fun queen size sheets!! Especially in jersey and flannel. Also, if you were willing to spend quite a bundle, I recommend the LittleMissMatched line. Go to their website, for a queen bed in a bag it's about $110 and you get free shipping. Crazy fun and cool and it's all double sided so you actually get 2 looks for the price and sooooooo super soft!!!
