Kids Purchased Their Halloween Costumes Today

Well after a couple weekends of nagging by my two kids, I broke down and drove them to IPARTY to purchase their Halloween Costumes.

DD (13) has decided she isn't going trick or treating this year because "she's tired of it" but she wanted a costume to answer the door with. It's called Rebellia The Punk Rocker. It almost looks like a Kelly Osborne type of outfit and she looks pretty cute in it.

DS (9) decided he was going to be a Gothic Punk . . .he has the black pants and shirt, so he bought blue hair spray, choker collar, studded gloves, a gothic looking necklace and black lipstick.

What happened to the days of dressing up as bumble bees and pumpkins and cartoon characters?

Thank god it's only for one night.

My oldest DD wants to be a vampire but she wants to be the "boy kind" not the girl kind

My youngest keeps changing her mind.

I have never with the exception of an M&M costume bought their halloween costumes. We have always made them ourselves or my mom sews them. But this year, my mom is "too busy" so I am not sure what we are doing....guess we will have to figure it out soon.
