So many of us have kiddies and I thougt I'd start a thread with your fav party ideas. I know I'm not the only one that tries to find something different or inexpensive. That Lego idea worked even better than I thought it would!

Here's another idea from last year's SpongeBob party. I bought some cheap, yellow sponges and let them dry for a couple of days (they were moist in the plastic wrap). I photocopied SB's eyes, mouth, arms, underpants, and other body parts on sticky labels, cut them out, and re-stuck them on waxed paper. (The waxed paper made it easier for the kids to get the labels.) I gave the label sheet to each child and let them get a good look at the body parts. Then we blindfoled each one and told them to pick the stickers off the waxed paper and put them on the dry, yellow sponge. We had some Picasso SpongeBob's! It was a hoot!

What are some of your ideas?

Great Idea! For dd's 7th birthday I had a swimming party at the YMCA. We played pin the tail on the fish. Took a blue poster board, found a fish character through a search on google.com, my friend (I'm not artistically inclined:rolleyes: ) drew the fish, cut it out and glued it on the board. I cut out the tails. The girls loved it! Took up about 15 minutes after the cake and ice cream which was just perfect before sending them all home!

Sounds silly, but the biggest hit at grandson's Halloween party was a sheet of bubble wrap on the floor. The kids take turns walking on it. Whoever gets the furthest without cracking a bubble wins. After the game they all jumped on it to try to get the most cracks.
