Kids on vacation??

I have a question about when the kids are on summer vacation in southern California. Do they do the whole summer off or do most of them do the three weeks, three weeks thing? Thanks.

I am in San Diego and work for the secondary district that is next to the border. Our schools follow different schedules--about half have all summer off and the other half are year-round and are getting ready to back in session. The year-rounds will be off mid-September through early October.

My girls district gets out in early June and goes BTS mid August (this year it's the 15th). Alot of other districts get out the 3rd week of June and go BTS the day after Labor Day. That how this district was too up until a few years ago. I'd say (at least up here in L.A.) it's split about 50/50 between those two (and similar) schedules.
