has anyone used this service while at Walt Disney World? what did you think?

My children are 9, 5 (girls) and 4 (boy).

We have a 6 year old boy. I was also looking at the Treasure Cruises. They are only 2 hours but I just know my son would love them!

BTW, Hi Cape May...I'm a bit up the AC Expressway!

we used kids nite out last may when our girls were 4 and 18 months. It was pretty expensive but we really enjoyed our night out. You can request an age group and sex of the sitter. We requested a "grandmother type". She brought activities and coloring stuff and they just hung in the room while we went out. We had the kids bathed and in jammies so the lady didn't have to do much. They told me they can walk the kids around the resort, get them a bite to eat, take them to the playground but they can't give them a bath, take them swimming or take them on the balcony. I think it cost $100 for the evening. We went to dinner in Epcot, did some rides and saw illuminations....it wasl really nice.

your kids are old enough to use the kids clubs at disney too..all of the deluxe resorts have them..it is like 10$/hr per kid and they feed them dinner, and have movies and games and all..when my little one turns 4 that is what we will be doing.

We used it for DD this year who was 18 months at the time. She didn't do much since we put our DD to bed shortly after she came (we had adjoining rooms so the sitter was able to sit in the other room and read, watch tv, whatever), but she was absolutely wonderful with my DD when she was up and she put me completely at ease -- and we had never left our DD before with anybody except her nanny and grandparents.

It is, however, expensive, and when our kids get older I think I would use one of the Kid Clubs or Cruisies instead. For now, however, it is a great service.

Thanks... I tried to get a reservation at the kids clubs. No luck.

Because I have three children, it may actually be less expensive to go with the Kids Nite Out option. It seems like they could get me a sitter for next weekend---I know, I'm planning last minute.

I might give them a shot.

I used the service last Sep. so my mom and I could enjoy EMH at Hollywood Studios.

I was super nervous to leave my kids (ages 3 and 1 at the time).

I called several times checked references and everything checked out great.

We were staying in the cabins and the "sitter" had the living room to herself after the kids went to bed.

It was very expensive, but a great service.
I would highly recommend it!

Only $100 for a night? Was that for a certain number of hours? Thats not bad for being at Disney and I'd expect a lot more. We will want to get out without the 3 kids next year for at least one evening of adult time so I hope its that price! ( heck its expensive enough to even go out and get a sitter in our hometown with 3 small kids! )
Does anyone know if they check birth certificates at the Kids Club? Our twins will be 1 month from turning 4 when we are there.

I was told that Kids Nite Out costs $21 an hour, minimum 4 hours plus $10 travel. I'd also give a tip. ( I think that would be expected if everything went well?)

The kids clubs were $11 per kid per hour. I was told that there was no availability.

Honestly, I didn't think that it was too expensive either given Disney prices. However, I was concerned about one sitter entertaining my three for the evening in a hotel room. I am glad that they can take them for walks.

And we're staying at the polynesian---so the furthest we'd go is the Grand Floridian for dinner.

I am nervous about it all---but also longing for adult , alone time.
