Kids Nite Out

Hi! I am new to the boards, but I am searching out information from people who have recently used Kids Nite Out? We are thrilled that this is our first vacation to Disney without the extended family, but still want a night out for my husband and I. Our kids are 3.5 and 5.5. We used Fairy Godmothers last time and it was great for our kids (they were 3.5 and 1.5) but wanted to try Kids Nite Out. Anyhow, just looking for feedback!

We used Kids Nite Out last summer. My DD and DN's had a great time. I was a little worried at first because they have never had a babysitter before--besides family members. We stayed in a villa near Disney. She brought lots of things for them to do. We left her money and she ordered dinner for them. We would definately do it again. Our sitter was doing a internship at Disney and was working for Kids Nite for extra money.

I had a great experience last year using a sitter from Kids Nite Out.

I was able to "request" a type of sitter...teenager, grandmother type...etc. They were so nice and were able to answer all of my questions (there were many) as I have never left my kids with anyone besides my mom and MIL. So I was a bit freaked. She came while the kids were up and brought tos and activities for the kids.

We were staying at the Campground in a cabin.

It worked out great...a but on the pricey side, but great.

i was able to call in the morning and find out who was coming and then was able to check out her profile before she arrived...

I wish I could remember her name...I think it was Robin, grandmother of 2 little ones...SO great!!!!

Book it, relax and have fun!!!!

Thanks for your input... I think we are going to go ahead and reserve a sitter for 1 night. We want to go to Jelly Rolls and this will allow us to do so. Thanks for providing some feedback! Now we just have to pick which night!

I was reading that kid's Night out would take your children to one of the parks. My husband and I were thinking about doing an afternoon at the spa and wanted the sitter to take the kids to Disney Quest. Has anyone done this??
