Kids Nite Out: Recommendations?

I'm taking the family to Disney at the end of this month, and finally convinced my DW to consider hiring someone from Kids Nite Out to watch the kids one night so we can go back and enjoy the World Showcase at Epcot (neither of us have been before)!

She basically said she'd only consider it if we were able to get a recommendation for a specific sitter, and so the reason for my post :)

Have any of you used someone from KNO in the last year or so and could recommend a specific sitter that we could request? Anyone ever had a bad experience with them?

Thanks in advance!

We have used them and will be using them again in a couple of weeks. Paula was our sitter last year for two nights for my 1year old twins. She's a sweet older lady and I believe she's a retired school teacher. She also teaches CCD classes at her church. She brought snacks and books for my twins and wore them out! I am really looking forward to having her watch my girls this next trip.

If you have any questions feel free to PM me. I was a little hesitant to having a stranger watch my children, but KNO came highly recommended to us by friends that used them.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the recommendation! I've heard nothing but good things re: KNO, but that doesn't make the decision any easier.

I should have mentioned in the initial post that if you don't feel comfortable giving a name over the forums, then feel free to PM me :cool1:

We used KNO for 2 nights in WDW when my DS was 2. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of our sitter, but she was unbelievably professional. She arrived with paperwork for me to fill out - emergency contact info, allergies, etc. My DS was asleep, so he never actually met her, but she brought all kinds of age appropriate things for him to play with. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with any sitter they send. They are highly trained, vetted professionals. I would not hesitate to use them again and I am not one to just hire any sitter. If you don't get a specific name, perhaps you could call them and talk to them about your children and discuss what type of personality might be a good fit for them?

This is good to know. I am a little hesitant to use them, but they sound wonderful!

I can not give you a name as it has been a couple years since we used them, but we have used them 3 times, and each time everything went perfectly., well except one time they made 1 mistake and came 30 minutes late, they had the time wrong. We always requested college age girls, specifically asking for no guys. Each time they brought toys and crafts to keep the girls busy. The biggest bonus, the kids got some resting down time, mom and dad got some alone time at Disney, and all was good. I left 2 kids in the care of someone from KNO, they were fed, kept busy and put to bed,.. I had dinner and fun with my DH, and came home to 2 kids sleeping soundly, and getting good rest for our next day! What more could I ask for? :)
