I have one more ADR to make for a TS for dinner. We will be at Magic Kingdom that day and was contemplating Crystal Palace or O'Hanas for Dinner. I would really like to try O'Hanas, as we will be dining at several other buffets for dinner during our visit. My problem is that I have a VERY picky 6 year old. I noticed on the menu for O'Hanas that there is a separate kid's menu available upon request. I was just wondering if anyone knew what was on the kid's menu. He likes pizza, hot dogs, plain noodles with butter, mac & cheese, etc.

I found this for you

Thank you, Thank you , Thank you!!! Yes, it does look like they have something for him. Great, I will call to try to reserve O'Hanas!!

My dd 16 still orders chicken nuggets and mac/cheese at most TS resturants...including Ohana's! They are very accomodating! :)

Another good thing is that you can order the alternative kid things and if he wants to try some of the adult choices he still can.

Ok guys I'm not trying to be persnickety, but I've got a raw nerve about what you are calling this restaurant. It isn't an Irish Pub. (O'hana's) it's 'Ohana.

I know, I'm being a snark, but its is one of my biggest DIS pet peeves.

My mom shops at Target's and watches Matlack too.:goodvibes

Sounds like a great plan! By the way 'srdipert', my 6 year old is a Logan too, plus, I have a 2 year old. Thanks you guys!

Just for kicks, I looked up 'ohana to see what it meant (guess I should have sat thru all of Lilo and Stitch).

From the wikipedia article: 'Ohana: of Hawaiian culture, ʻohana means family in an extended sense of the term including blood-related, adoptive or intentional. It emphasizes that family and friends are bound together and members must cooperate and remember one another. The term is cognate with (and its usage is similar to) the New Zealand Māori term whānau.

In Hawaiian, the word is ʻohana with the leading inverted apostrophe (ʻ) indicating a glottal stop or ‘okina.

The root word ʻohā refers to the root or corm of the kalo, or taro plant (the staple "staff of life" in Hawaii), which Kanaka Maoli consider to be their cosmological ancestor.

In contemporary Hawaiian life, an "ʻohana unit" is a part of a house or a separate structure on the same lot that may contain a relative but which may not be rented to the general public.

ʻOhana is one of the main themes of the movie Lilo & Stitch ("ʻOhana means family and family means nobody gets left behind. Or forgotten.").

Question about child's meal- if ds orders a kid meal- chicken tenders, I pay the $12.99 or the adult price ($28 something I think). Ds is 11.

I think there you have to pay the adult price but you might get lucky and they only charge the child price.

We have a picky 7 year old. Duiring the last few trips to Disney, I make reservations at the restaurants the majority of us want to eat at. We don't worry about the little guy... we just feed him counter service, right before or after our meal... whenever, wherever he wants.

Quite often, he will eat what is offered at the restaurant, but if not... we grab him a slice of pizza, etc., (even if it means paying oop) and he's happy.

Just so ya know, all menus for almost every Disney Restaurant can be found on allears .net. Just click on dining at the top of the website and you can find tons of info!

Yes, but the Resturant came first, it opened as 'Ohana in 1995 and the movie came out in 2002.
