Kids Meals

so, we are planning on taking in our own drinks to save a few bucks and because we aren't pop drinkers.
I read where in AK you can skip the bucket that comes with the kids meal and save $2.
Can you also ask to skip/hold the drink at a reduced cost? If not, I guess we take in less drinks since we will buying a meal here and there.

I don't know the answer to your question but I would guess that you cannot get a reduced price if you don't get the drink with a kid's meal. I just wanted to add that most QS places offer more than just pop as an option for drinks. Many places you can get a bottle of water, lemonade, milk, chocolate milk, iced tea, juice, etc.
