Do they still put the kids meals in the little lunchboxes? And where do they sell the make your own PB&J meals?

No, they did away with the little plastic lunchboxes over a year ago.

The pb&j palette is at the Carnation Cafe.

My kids got little lunchboxes (similar to Happy Meal boxes) at a little stand in Toon Town last week. Sorry, I can't remember the name.

The lunchboxes are now cardboard, not plastic like before. I found them rather annoying on our last trip as the handle string kept slipping out of the lunchbox. I ended up holding the lunchboxes on the bottom and not using the string handle.

Almost every where we went had the kids meals in the Mickey shaped black plastic dishes. Stagedoor had the cardboard boxes, and Tomrrowland terrace had cardboard boxes with Star Wars pictures on them. The little hard plastic lunch boxes are gone.

Forewarning to stay away from Village Haus, not great food and especially with their new portion controls. It's seriously a joke. I mainly saw the toodles shaped plates around, but we took her to Riverbelle Terrace and the Carnation Cafe for the pb&j - always a huge hit!!!

Aww too bad, I was hoping to eat enough kids meals to bring those back as souvies for my 10 kindergarteners!

If you don't mind paying $20 each, you can get the birthday buckets as souvenirs for them - might get them cheaper empty if you ask at one of the restaurants???

Most certainly!!! It looks like a painter's palette - you get 2 pieces of break and peanut butter has been spread on one half. Then you get little dishes served where the "paints" would be - raisins, marshmallows, jelly, and bananas. You can ask for more of anything you want. The kids get to design their own sandwich from there. HUGE hit with our daughter although she will only eat the bread plain (we request the peanut butter be left off *rolls eyes*), followed by a few raisins and at least 2 containers of the marshmallows. She eats some of my food too. She's 2 and really good at it, but I've never seen a kid NOT love this!

Croc and Bites at the DLH had little plastic lunch boxes in June 2006. We still have ours :)

I got one of the hard plastic ones (maybe in Feb.?) at Taste Pilot's at DCA. I got the chicken tenders and great french frys! It's actually the perfect portion for me. I'm a WDW vet, and used to always get the kids chicken tenders, before they switched to chicken nuggets. I was very excited to find out Disneyland had tenders.

(wow, my 2nd post!)

On a side note to VegasDisney - then you would probably like the kids meal at the Jazz Kitchen Window - the most incredible popcorn chicken and smiley face fries - the best!!!
