Kid's Meal: "Avail. Upon Request"?

Most of the kids meal options list french fries and soda "available upon request".

Is this free with their selection, or an additional charge? Just curious......

It is available as a substituion. You can get fries instead of veggies, soft drink instead of milk and cookie instead of grapes (or whatever "healthy" option comes with the meal). The only problem we had getting what we ordered was at Pizzafari, other than that it was easy to order.
