Kids Drawing Pictures for the Characters?

I am just curious. I have three year old twins and my son really wants to draw the characters a picture to give to them. Should I label it some how? I have heard on the boards before that sometimes if you put your address on it they will send a thank you card. However, I don't want to seem like we are expecting some sort of a reply because that would take the fun out of receiving it. I was thinking about printing out some picture labels with their picture and address to put on the back, just so they might be able to remember which child drew it for them, since it means so much to my son.

The great thing is that I am hoping this will keep him busy for a little bit on a 7 hour plane trip.
Thanks.

It is starting to warm up and stay warm. Do yourself a favor and bring the bug juice. I \t is better to bring it and not need it. As for the parks, I have had experiences with mosquitos in all of the parks. I remember a small child being carried away by mosquitos while waiting in line for the Haunted Mansion. Well, maybe the kid wasn't carried away, but a lot of everyone's blood sure was!

Just do it descreetly, like you said. Put the names and addresses to remind them who gave them the pictures and leave it at that. I love this idea, it's really a nice thing to do.

I love getting pictures from the kids! I have some on my fridge. :)
Whether or not you get something in the mail is really the luck of the draw. Some characters will, some won't. I'd be thrilled if I got one with an address! There's no harm in putting an address label on them though if you don't have expections and don't make any promises to your children.

Many of our breakrooms have all sorts of pictures and letters on the walls- I love it. In one area, there's a letter from a child to Mickey and Minnie saying they were there for the 10th anniversary of that child's liver transplant.

In dining locations, it's best to make sure the picture gets to the greeter as most characters don't have pockets, and it can be frustrating to visit with other people while carrying around a note or picture that you want to keep. Once, a server took a drawing for me, but it never made it to the breakroom, and I lost it!

My daughter did this last year. The characters seemed pleased (well, I mean the face characters who were able to speak), and my daughter definitely loved giving them out. I encouraged her to draw them on plain index cards because they were easy to carry.

We did put her name/address on the back, but we didn't receive anything in the mail. I'd heard that they sometimes send autoraphed pix of the characters, but they didn't. I hadn't really thought about it until now.

What happened to this post? The post I replied to what asking if you should pack insect repellant. Now, it is about kids drawings? Odd.
