Me Three, lol.
and while I'm beggin.............I'd love anything on princesses that anyone has for sale, or has bought and has a seller's name for me......we are definitely princess obsessed here in this house (poor DH, lol). All princesses are loved here....but a special fondness for Ariel and Belle.

I have a princess set that I planned to list on ebay...tiered twirl dress with pants. What size do you need? :)

Here is a pic of my dd - this is the polka dot dress from walmart - I just appliqued on a mickey head and re-used the bow on the dress for minnie's bow. The flip flops I bought at old navy and made the bows from ribbon I bought at walmart - thanks for all the tips on this thread!!

Just Darling! I have been wanting to try my hand at flip flops. Any tips? I do dd's hairbows all the time, but I haven't tried flip flops. Do you just glue the ribbon and wrap around the thong before securing the bow? Any advice?

not sounding totally stupid here.....but what exactly is a korker? From reading and since you were talking about bows, presuming they are the curly little things I have seen on some of the bows pictured?????

Yep -- they're the corkscrew ribbon bows. They're pretty easy to make. There's a picture here: http://www.korkersandmore.com/

Bengalbelle -- thanks for the instructions. That's the site I used to learn to make korkers, but I hadn't seen the other site. Those instructions look easier than the ones I'd been using (and failing with!) Thanks!

Wow I am so impressed. I have spent most of today going thru this thread. I had been thinking about getting into a sewing class (it has been years and my memory of sewing is not great). I can sew I just cannot follow a pattern if my life depended on it. And I really need to learn how ... it is truely a dying art. Since DD 13 has decided she would like to take one as well I am calling in the morning to see if I can find one! :goodvibes Even at 13 she has found things in this thread that she would like to vary the idea a bit and make something for our next Disney trip.

I have only gotten to page 63 but I have not seen much no sew so I thought I would add the ones that I made for our suprise bday trip for this summer. The picture is not the greatest it is a lot deeper red (my camera is not the greatest at taking indoor pictures.). I have since outlined the shirts in black tulip paint which makes the letters much more defined and easy to read ... but because my kids are officially home for summer break I will not be able to get them back out to take another picture. They are hidden in the back of DS's closet ... the one place they will never look. :rotfl:

I also did another one in a camo pattern and outlined it in glow in the dark paint they look really cool in the dark. :goodvibes:

I could not belive it either..I thought all the kids would be dressed up.Why not the kids love it. I would not worry about it your daughter will look adorable! Who did you buy the tutu from? I also make the pirate tulle tutus...

I figure she can wear it on the cruise, at the MNSSHP, and for Halloween, so she'll get some use out of it. It's actually a tutu and corset like below, but it will have little silver coins on the ruffle, too. I'm going to have my MIL make her a cute pirate-y shirt. pirate:

Do you sell your tutus on Ebay?

Really cute..I have seen them..I sell them on ebay also..

We were at disney last month and I bought some of the beads to make our own necklaces! I see you do the same thing!

Where do you buy beads at Disney? Any chance there is an online store for all these cuties? What other great things are there to get to make all these great clothes? Fabrics? Appliques?

Gosh, I'm feeling like I need to make a trip to WDW just to buy stuff to get ready to go to WDW.....:rotfl2: I just don't think my DH would see the logic in this.

This is the seller that made my Snow White, Belle and red Minnie set. The Snow White and Belle have jeans and bows like the Cinderella set has. I've never posted pictures of the jeans because it was too warm for my dd to wear when I took the pictures.

I think the set is adorable and can be worn several different ways. I'm sure this will go for at least $250. Her work is amazing though. Quite different from other sellers.

Oh, I also have a Rapunzel set on the way from her. I just love fairytales. ;)

Ok, I must be blind or something....I searched ebay for "custom princess"...sifted through about 6 pages of hits....but didn't find an "over the top" Cinderella outfit. Could some kind soul link me right to it? Thanks!

Ok, ladies I need some help. DD8 is a huge Jasmine fan, and I'm afraid our December trip will be her last for wearing princess gowns, growing up and all that :sad1: . I'm surprising them with a trip to BBB on the night we're going to MVMCP and I want to also surprise them with beautiful dresses to wear, instead of buying them there. Not to mention, handmade would be unique and more comfy. DD6 loves Cinderella, so that's no problem. But, I can't find anything for Jasmine. Sure we have the two-piece costume, actually we have three of them I think. Like I said, she's a huge fan!

Anyone know where I can find a pattern, ebayer or someone to make one or give me ideas on how to embellish an existing something? I really want to surprise her with something special. I thought of having one made using the Cinderella pattern or even Aurora, but make it out of purples and gold. :confused3 I really would love your opinions!

Simplicity pattern 9919.....if your local store doesn't have it there is one on ebay (Item number: 230123445209) for $6 plus $2.50 shipping. Joann's around here almost always have 99cent patterns so that's likely to be a better buy if you can wait until they put the Simplicity's on sale.

If you want one ready-made www.wondercostumes.com has a couple, but for some odd reason they're purple? Isn't Jasmine more green? Maybe she has more than one outfit, lol.

I did a search on Ebay for "Jasmine costume" and got 35 hits...you could either buy one ready-made or use them for simple ways to create your own:

Ebay Item 190117245967....it's in Australia so the shipping is a bit hefty, but the concept should be relatively easy to reproduce. I'm sure finding a pattern for simple loose fitting pajama pants would be easy, then take the PJ top and crop it to mid length and add the gauze sleeves and the fringe. This costume is all about the fabric choices really. Using cotton it's PJ's...using filmy gauzy type things it's Jasmine.

Ebay Item number: 140124176875 also looks like it'd be relatively easy to recreate....these pants are a bit more form fitting than the one above, but again it's about fabric choices.......love the gold....and the top looks like a regular puffy sleeve blouse that's been cut short. The headband would also be easy to make from scratch (start with muslin to get the size and shape right). or buy the tiara in Ebay Item number: 190118727445.

If what you're wanting is not a Jasmine costume, but one of these fancy boutique type dresses with Jasmine's face ON it.....then I'd suggest a trip to the local Disney store....we were there last week and they have several nightgowns with Jasmine's face....you could easily use one of these as a starting point or cut it out for the face and put it on the dress of your choice.

She's my favorite too....but I just don't think this flabby body of mine should wear ANYTHING that reveals skin. :rotfl2:

These were my first try at flip flops so I tried to make them as secure as possible. After making the bows, I took thin floral wire and wrapped it around the bow, then around the front of the thong. I wrapped it in a couple of different places then hot glued everything down. I hope it stays!!!

I showed them to my mother last night and she loved them, needless to say, I've already made a few different colored bows and will be going to old navy to pick up some more flip flops!!

We have three of the two-piece ones, so I want a "princess" type dress. Something like Jasmine might wear to a ball or something. Kinda like the adult costume on wondercostumes.com, but more fancy. I guess I could have someone make that for a child? I'm really worried that I'll disappoint her.

This may have been discussed and I missed it, but where can I learn how to make bows? I have almost finished my halter dresses from Walmart, but I wanted to make bows for them before I posted pics.

Obsessed with the mouse has an adorable Aladdin outfit that she posted pics of earlier. PM her for that seller, or pics, and that will be a start! Good luck!
