The only ones? :sad2: What's wrong with people? :confused3 Where is their spirit of adventure!? pirate:

Now I'm worried DD is going to look weird and out of place. The pirate tutu set is a little "over the top", but its so cute! Please tell me people won't think we're weird! :rotfl:

I would love to see the pirate tutu. Will you PM a link to me so I can see it?

thanks!

One of my favorite sellers just listed a Cinderella set on Ebay. It's over the top...a 6 piece set. You can search "custom princess".

I'm sure it's going to go for many $$$$ but you can check it out.

I received the email on this set. I love her work but could never afford a set without working some serious overtime. I do have her minnie tee on order. It was more in my price range. Can't wait to get it!

Tink, do you have any of her tees? How long does it usually take her to ship?

Yes, I have a Minnie tee that she included as a gift for Gracie with the red Minnie set. I also bought the "Carpe Diem" ladybug tee from her. It usually takes about 3 or 4 weeks depending on how busy she is. The shortest time has been 2 weeks and I think the longest was 4. You will love her work.

I bought some most of Gracie's sets from selling stuff we no longer need on Ebay. Luckily, Cinderella is probably my least favorite princess because I think she's way over done. I prefer the others and more specifically the dark haired princesses.;) So I can live without this set.

She is the seller that is going to design a Mulan set for my daughter. We're going to work on it in the fall/winter. My daughter will wear it to Epcot to celebrate Chinese New Year and probably for her 2nd birthday party as well. I'm saving for that one now.

Oh, and also... her bows are amazing!

That Cindy set is so cute. I just want the pants tho. How clever with all the sayings.

But now for the reason for this post. I finally have something to show off. :rotfl: I made this from the outfit I bought at Kmart. The only mistake I realized I made was that I affixed the bow on the outfit permenantly. Which means when I wash the overalls, BYE BYE BOW! Oh well, no biggie, the organza is easy to come by, cheap, and a bow takes like 2 seconds to make. I wanted this to be comfy for the monster and somthing she could wear not just to Disney. In other words, I wanted my money's worth. :goodvibes Once I figured out what I wanted to do with it and found something that would go well, it was super easy to make.
Sorry these arent the best pics I am still learning a recently purchased camera. Descriptions are under the pics.

AFTER

Added a little premade trim and a bow. Ta Da! I had to do something with those belt loops. That drives me nuts when they put those only on the front of an outfit.

A little organza ribbon, some fun foam animal shapes(precut, I aint that ambitious..lol) and a bead from leftover trim

Bracelet (multiwrap)and necklace (actually a multiwrap bracelet for me)

plastic beads I had in my craft stuff (I knew I would use them someday..hehe) some more organza ribbon, elastic thread, and on her bracelet some fun foam animals.

I plan on trimming a pair of socks and making some bows for the ends of her braids (cant wear your hair up in pony tails when you have on a hat;) )if I have time to  SOOO many projects SOOOO little time. :rotfl2:
I will post the pics when I finish the other outfits I am working on. Also my and her Dad's stuff . Hey, big ppl like silly clothing too. :rotfl:

I'll post pictures of the Belle & Snow White pants tomorrow. they're adorable. Snow White has the "Mirror Mirror on the wall" saying.

Nice job! I am impressed with your creative juices!

I think the Cindy outfit is okay. I agree the best part is the jeans. Wonder if she'd just do them??? I personally LOVE the Cindy outfit a few pages back. The one with the big flowing pants that have the mice and slipper on them? They are my favorite Cindy outfit so far.

1evilqueen your work is so cute! I have added you to my favorite sellers. I think I'm going to pick a couple of things up for my dd's birthday :)

Thank you, Thank you!!! Let me know if you want them wrapped special. I always make my packages pretty but I can always make it fancier!

I am not totally sure why.... but I haven't made a Disney outfit yet. I would rather buy them off Ebay! :lmao: This is an outfit I made this week. I still have to put button holes in it... going to do that as soon as I post :headache:

Go for it, it's a lot of fun!! And, the kids get a kick out of it!! See the pic in my signature! It's my girls in their Mickey Pirate dresses that they wore on pirate night! Even Capt Jack commented on them!!!

I know it's not disney but here's the outfit I made for Mya for our zoo trip today. I think my friends thought I was a little wacky...custom outfit for the local zoo, lol!! I suppose it would work for AK..animals right?

sallyfromDE- where did you get all of those cool "blocks" of characters to make that gorgeoud jacket? are they cottom fabric? my mind started thinking patchwork twirl skirt!:goodvibes

Some of the fabrics came from Joannes, Walmart or Hancocks. ALOT of it came from Ebay. I use either cotton, flannel, or knit. I've even used a few sheets. The Cinderella, Esmerelda and Hercules came from a sheet. I've made a few toddler size with Tink and solid colors. They were really cute. I just start with a sweatshirt. I wish I had a picture of them. I saw a picture in an earlier post that was a patch skirt, had me thinking twirl also.

This is my neice Princess Lexi. I made her dress for her 8 month picture. My sister said that women were chasing her through the parking lot asking where she got the dress. I put a Princess button on the front of the dress, I got a pair of slippers, really cheap, as the Disney store and took the buttons off. I got her Crown headband at the Childrens Place last summer.

I can't believe this is the only picture I have of my sister and family. I made thier costumes for when we went to MNSSHP a few years ago. I really wanted to show you my sisters costume. She's the Magic Carpet. I made it like a caftan. It was a riot. People were coming up to her constantly to check that she was the magic carpet. She loved all the attention. It made the night alot of fun. You should have seen the "Real" Aladdin and Jasmine!! They were hysterical over our Magic Carpet.

I listed the Cinderella set a while ago, and I just wanted to show you all the Aurora set that I made to go with it. I didn't finish the skirt yet, maybe later today...
Lisa

PS- sorry about the horrible photos...

Oh I love them!

Did you make the princess applique, do you use a pattern or just freehand it somehow (mind a-boggled on the idea, lol).

I wish these ebay sellers would remember that girls bigger than size 6x would love these (pout pout pout). My girls are size 12, and I've yet to find anything their size online....of course maybe I'm not looking in the right place! Anyone have a seller that makes big girl clothing?
