Isn't there a dress somewhere, that is Cinderella's gown on one side, and her work dress on the other side? I thought I saw that somewhere.

Hi, Everyone!! This is what I made so far out of the material I bought yesterday. I feel in love with the froggie print and had to have it. Yes, I know...not Disney related...but I just had to show ya....:lmao:
Lisa

Love it!!!! So cute.....you are so talented. I love frogs - I think I bought out the Gymbo line the one year they had a frog theme!!!

I am amazed....who knew there was a whole "babushka world" out there??? I seriously thought it was something my great-grandmother and grandmother made up to torture us (well, not really, but it felt that way when we were younger):lmao:

I decided to try my hand at painting clothes as well.
This is a pair of Alice jeans I did for DD.
I cropped them and added ribbon to the legs, then drew on and painted in the scene, it is from a book DD has. Alice and the White Rabbit looking at the Cheshire cat.

OMG - those are adorable!!! I'm no painter, but I'm tempted to give this a try for my DDs.

hahah! i am DEF. NOT a painter, but i'm thinking even i can do some plain black 3 circle mickey heads and then add some little bows to the minnie mouse ones :)

I will probably head to the REsale shop in town, to get a pair of jeans to try this out on!!

I can barely write my own name, let alone paint. But they came out great!!

LOLOL Same here... maybe a miracle will happen for me andit will come out good.

What kind of paint is everyone using?

I have not painted anything in probably 15 years. When I used to do it I used regular Apple Barrel or Folk Art paint you get at Walmart or any craft store.

Once it was dry I would iron over the paint with waxed paper to set the paint.

Gosh what memories this thread brings back.

I can't wait to see what you all paint

For the Alice jeans I bought some paint from Michaels. It is called Tulip Soft brushable fabric paint. It comes in bottles or little paint pot multi packs, which is what I used to see how well it would work.
I had tested some of the fabric paints in the tubes, and they dried stiff.
This is softer and the jeans can still bend and stretch with DD.
You can heat set it to.

Now I am trying to come up with something else to paint. I might do a matching tee, but as she is older I don't want to be too cutesy.

These are not Disney themed but a lady here in Maryland made these for me for our trip in September 2006. SHe has made me a few really cute outfits for them but at the moment her name escapes me (which really ticks me off since I will probably be buying from her again and it's embarassing to always have to ask her name again ! :rotfl: )
