How do you guys post multiple photos in one post? I'm going to post my labor stories but I want to have pictures of the kids when they were born and of course one now of all three of them. Thanks.

Laura:flower3:

I don't think anyone answered you. If you are using Photobucket, then you just copy and paste the img code that they have on there right into your post. You can put as many as you want in the post. For any picutre hosting site, you can use the insert image button (it looks like a little picture of a mountain). You just put the URL of the picture in there and hit ok. Just do that for each picture you want to put into your post.

No, I'm not off to Disney. Thanks for rubbing it in! :rotfl: I love all your customs!! Great job!! I also love your dog. She is just the cutest little thing!
I hope you start feeling better soon!

I HAVE to do some Christmas shopping!! I don't have anything for Sawyer. I also don't have any stocking stuffers. I spent a week getting ready for vacation, a week on vacation, and another week taking care of a sick baby. Now I've only got 2 more days to do some shopping and my DH is working. So, how am I supposed to get the kid's stuff?! I'm thinking I may have to make a midnight run to Meijer. I also haven't gotten anything for Henry or for his grandma (who always spends Christmas with us). I'm starting to stress here....

;)
That's funny. Are they Jehovah's Witnesses too? Brian hasn't got many Christmas cards this year, but I got my very first! :rotfl: A guy I went to school with sent me one this year. We had our class reunion so he had my address. I was touched that he had thought of me. (Don't worry, there was nothing even slightly romantic going on with this guy sending me a card. He has a husband.) I'm sure your Great Aunts felt the same way. When I married Brian it took me YEARS to convince his family to NOT give me Christmas presents! I don't know how many times I had to tell them!

They are. It's fun to reunite with old friends, i found some on myspace earlier this year so I had to join, and we got together, and a couple of them I have a few times :) I have a reunion next year. One of guys friends I found only sent me a message once, he asked me to check out his page and tell him what I thought (without saying he is gay). This was a guy I had had a crush on in JHS, I told him I hoped he was happy and was having a good life and I must have said something to offend him cuz he never responded :( ok sorry TMI.
I'm sure they didn't want you to feel left out. It takes awhile for things to sink in sometimes ;) :rotfl:

Hold that thought for another three months ladies! It was MY baby's birthday! Tessa was born exactly three months AFTER Lydia, in March. I made Lydia the dress, Aunt HeatherSue made her the cake.

Sorry to confuse everyone! Heather posted the party pictures, because I don't celebrate birthdays (my husband does though). I didn't feel right posting pictures of a birthday party, so Heather did it. The idea for the dress struck me about the same time Brian (dh)decided on having Lydia's party at Build A Bear. I saw one that Tom had made his daughter with a panel type fabric, and I thought it was a good idea for this fabric. It just worked out that Lydia would wear the dress I made her to her party. I was a little suprised, because generally she thinks she has to wear a red dress to any birthday party! It comes from one of those KidSongs videos, "Sally wears a red dress red dress red dress, Sally wears a red dress all day long."

Thanks Heather, and I think the cake you made was gorgeous too!

Oops So sorry

party: HAPPY BIRTHDAY LYDIA!!!pixiedust: :bday: The cake and the dress were adorable! Great Job Heather and Teresa!

Wow, how pretty! It's so nice to look at, but so bad to drive on!

Wow All of them are so great- This is my favorite and you can't beat the price great!!!
Here is the finished nemo. I wanted to put the fin lines on the nemo, but hubby said no. He all of a sudden feels the need to say what the design needs. So it would take a few seconds to do. hmmm will have to look at it for a bit, but I think the outfit is cute and simple and perfect for the nemo ride at DL.

Love the matching shirts. I was going to put mickey buttons on ds shirt but they disappeared  The Jumpers are CUTE too!!! I bet the pets really wonder what the heck is going on at christmas time- The whole routine gets thrown out of whack- My dh came home about 20 min. late yesterday and the dog was staring out the window until he came home!!

I've never been to arches  but I have been to Mirror Lake and that very same wooden path near Brighton (pronounced "Bri-In"). I've only been to the Great Salt Lake a few times yet I live RIGHT near there. I smell it more often.

I also love the climate here in Utah. Very dry but fabulous seasonal changes.

Don't we just sound like a Travel Report?

Utah really does look gorgeous! Who knew? :confused3 ;)

Wendy, Lydia wanted to know what your siggy said the other day, so I read it to her. So, now she keeps going around telling people, "Your elf name is Booty Stocking Stuffer!" and she will sometimes add, "Wakey Wakey eggs and bakey!" :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

nah, not TMI! It's odd that he never emailed you back, but some people are like that. I would doubt it was anything you said.

The guy that sent me the card this year said the sweetest thing to me at the reuion, "Teresa, you look exactly the same! It's like someone just cut out your picture from the yearbook, and put you right here!" Apparently, he needs some glasses, but it was such a sweet thing to say!

Oops So sorry

That is SOOOO gorgeous!!! Wow!!! Our snow is really melting today, and it looks pretty icky out there now!

Yay! My 3 big kids played in the snow all day long! We have a mini sledding hill within walking distance of our house, but while babins napped, the other three went outside. They came in and asked me to come take pictures of their snow fort. I went outside and they had built a massive snow cave! Big enough for one or two of them to fit inside. I was so impressed. They are still working on hollowing it out, but it is pretty cool. Can't wait for the Hannah Movie also! I was watching Disney Channel the other day and found out they filmed the 3-D movie at the Salt Lake City concert, so it really will be like we were there!

Okay, now as I was threading elastic into peasant tops, I was looking at photos and have to share some with you.

This is why I love living in Utah!

This is the trailhead to Sand Dune Arch (we call it Sandy Arch) in Arches Ntl. Park, one of my favorite places on the planet!

DH and DSs hiking to Landscape Arch, also in Arches

DS and Dnephew in Goblin Valley State Park. There is a whole valley filled with these rock formations. We played sardines there with 20 people until it got too dark. It is way cool.

And from the desert, we go to the High Uintas in the Rocky Mountains--this is DS5 camping/fishing at Mirror Lake

Okay, one more, I could be off topic all day, but I'll spare you. This is DH and the oldest 3 kids at Silver Lake by Brighton ski resort--just a short drive up the canyon from my house.

I love the dog applique. Are there directions anywhere for those blankets. Those would be nice for my DS's beds. I knit and they want me to knit one for them (I could but those look a lot easier).

Now wait just a minute!!! My baby girl is still only 4 years old. Lydia is the one that had the birthday! Although, I have to agree that Teresa did a fantastic job on her Build A Bear dress!

Is there an insert foot in mouth smilie?? :confused3 Soooo sorry poor Lydia....I was so tired clearly my brain was fried.:sad2: So......

Ok here goes. My first DS was born April 1, 1999. He was a quick delivery for the first one, so I am told. I was 9 days late and started having contractions around 4:30 am. I looked at the clock once I got another so I could time then so see if "this was it" and it was. By 6:00 am I could not stand it so I called the doctor. She asked me how far in between they were coming, I told her 5 minutes and then she asked me how long were they lasting :scared1: , I didn't time that. She then told me that since this was my first baby I probably should take a shower and relax because it was going to be a long day. I took my shower and I could literally not stand up in the shower anymore, so I called back the doctor around 9ish (by this time the office was open so I talked to a nurse) and the nurse said go to the hospital. Not to be gross but I was also vomitting and had diarrhea too, at the same time (I had heard some people go through this when they are in a transition phase). Anyway I got to the hospital around 9:30 am ish and I was 8 cm dilated. Wow that wasn't as bad as I thought I said to myself. Anyway at 12:39 pm he was born. He weighed 9 lb 4 oz and I couldn't believe I was finally a mom. Here is Christopher.

Chirstopher1999.jpg

My next birth went a little faster. My next DS was born on July 14, 2001. I was 6 days late and again my contractions started at around 4:30 am ish (kind of weird don't ya think) anyway. I started to time them, how long they were apart and how long they were lasting. Well I called my midwife around 6:00 am she said I was probably in the early stages of labor to have some water and take a shower. Well I went to the bathroom, took one small cup of water and threw it back up. I then came back out of the bathroom and told my DH let's go to my mom's because we had to drop of DS#1 and I would call the midwife again. I called her again and as I was curled up in the fetal position on my mom's bed I begged her to come to the hospital because I was beginning to feel a lot of pain and just wanted to be checked, she said come on down. I had to go potty (so I have to be graphic) then crawled down the stairs and out the front door and threw up on my mother's front steps (transition phase, remember) anyway I get in the car and I say to DH "I feel like I have a litter urge to push" he answers "oh yeah". To make a long story short by the time we got to the hospital which was 15 minutes away from my mom's, got upstairs to the delivery unit, got undressed as I sat on the bed I felt him crowning. I was so scared. I was like oh my god I feel the head. They didn't even call my midwife to tell her I was there. She comes in at this point and I see her and start to cry. All of sudden trays are flying around, doctor's being paged and he was delivered with 4 pushes at 6:51 am, weighing in at 8 lb 7 oz. Here is Nicholas.

Nicholas2001.jpg

Now for my third birth. DD was born on November 22, 2005. I had gestional diabetes so I wasn't going late  but this baby decided to flip the day before I went in for my induction so I ended up with a c-section. That was scary for me. I was not prepared at all but we went into the hospital around 7 ish, mom slept over to watch the boys and get them off to school for us. It was two days before thanksgiving so I was like yes we'll be home for turkey day (my fav holiday) Well my midwife came in and checked me and said "the baby is up real high still and I can't feel the head, let's do an ultrasound". Well she came in with the nurse and they were doing the ultrasound and looked at each other with big eyes almost to say oh no this babies breech. We I saw them and said I can see you what is wrong. She said nothing's wrong I am going to get a resident to look at the ultrasound for me. The resident comes in and says "yes the baby is breech". I looked at DH and almost started to cry. The perineonatal doctor that was taking care of me besides my office for the gest diabetes comes and wants to measure the baby. So he does and says he could flip the baby, so he does and then he was worried that the babies hand was on top of the head and the hand might move when I delivered buy if it didn't, not good. So he talked it over with my OB and they decided it wouuld be best to have a c-section. Also the other doc was estimating the weight to be close to 10 lb because of the diabetes. So I got prepped and at 11:59 am, she weighed in at 9 lb 4 oz (just like her big brother). She got sent to the NICU because of the sugar and stayed there until the next afternoon which was very hard not to hold your baby. I did get to see her in the NICU on the way to my floor but only touched her hand. I will never forget that moment for the rest of life. I introduce you to Elizabeth.

And here they are today.

We're snowed in today. We have about 6 inches. I took advantage of the time stuck in the house and made my dogs some Christmas handkerchiefs.
