Here is what I was working on this week. These are Christmas presents for my neice. Now I need to make some for DD.

I love the making these jeans, but man, are they tedious!

Nightgowns. DD is right, they're too pretty to be jammies! I was able to make these with 2 yards of fabric (bought for .99 a yard on Black Friday :whoohoo: ). I used the scraps for Bitty's gown. Next time I'll get a little more so I can do a ruffle on the doll's nightgown.

Sorry I have been absent the last few days and not commenting on all the cute stuff! Hosted a Christmas party this weekend, sewed up 5 pairs pajama pants for a friend, finished making my Christmas cards, DD2 had a dislocated elbow DH's work just said "oh, can you get on a plane to Orlando (from Salt Lake City) in 2 hours?" so he took off yesterday with no notice (and I'm soooo jealous he's going to Orlando, even though I'll be there soon!) and now I have a horrible chest cold and some fabric I ordered from is MIA. The post office tracking system says they have it, but after waiting in line for a looooong time with a 2 year old and a 5 year old they say "why don't you bring in the delivery attempt notice that the mail carrier NEVER LEFT, wait in line again, and we'll look again, even though I already looked everywhere." I just want to cry. But on the good side, my favorite quilting store happened to have 20% off everything today and I got some cute valentine's fabric and fabric for a cupcake skirt I want to make, never mind that they are waaayyyyy down on a loooong list of things I need to make. Okay, thanks for listening to the vent. I love everything you all have been up to, but for some reason I only saw the red x in Misty's pictures of Jayedyn and I need to see them!!!!! And thanks for reminding me of all the doll clothes on my "to do" list! DD2 is getting Bitty Baby for Christmas and DD10 is getting Julie. We love Kit, she has the best hair! They say they need their own hairbrush so that they don't get any oils from human hair in their hair.

Hi everyone I hope you all are well and some of you are sick or have hurt kidos and I hope you all are better in time for the holidays. I have been mia for a few weeks trying to get my long list done I found I was on here trying to make my post numbers go up and not getting anything done. So I'm done I'm done I finished them all. Woo hoo all three pairs my fingers hurt. but at least 3 presents are finished. Now on to the next project my moms blanket. Then 6 outfits for my gingerbread boy and girls. Then another pair of overalls. Then Christmas ornaments with the girls pic in them. Then I am going to sit back and relax because I will probly be done the day before Xmas eve I hope. I don't want to be up till midnight finishing. I have seen some great new things and Ideas on here I can't comment on them all or my ramble will go on forever as soon as my camera batteries charge I will post pics. Thanks for letting me vent.

LOL!! The pink shoes came with a retired Bitty Twin set. I think it was a Easter set. But if you search ebay, you'll probably find some. I'm loving the matching outfits! I already have to make a matching nightgown for DD (her cousin can't have one if she doesn't have one too!!) But I'm thinking she's going to need some more matching sets!!

So sorry you are stressed out! I hope DD2 is feeling better: ouch! I hope they find your fabric, dealing with the post office is so frustrating! Also, thanks for explaining the AG hairbrush thing, I thought it was weird that the doll needed her own hairbrush but I went ahead and bought it anyway.

Today I actually felt like I got some things done. I have a Christmas party tonight so I baked a cake, did a scrapbook page for a present, wrapped and cut out rudolph fabric for Megan's outfit. I really need to get these done before Christmas, ha ha. I also did the newsletter and minutes for the PTA. Whew!

All of these doll outfits has inspired me. Has anyone used the Sewboutique 4 Dolly "volumes"? Deciding if I "need " them or if I should go with some Simplicity patterns. I like that with the YCMT patterns they could match DD's outfits. Hmmmm.... does anyone have a YCMT coupon code? Just a FYI - I downloaded the Free patterns and they aren't full patterns, they are "companion" patterns that go with the other ones. One does have a cute Santa hat though.

Hey everybody! I thought a couple of weeks ago that I would be back on on a regular basis but mother nature wasn't done with me. I'm feeling much better now, hopefully the worst of morning (or all day as it is with me) sickness is behind me. I won't go into the gory details but YUCK!

I just finished up 6 shepherd costumes for DD4's Christmas program. The teacher asked me last week if I could make them and I had to have them done by today for tomorrow's program. YIKES! Definitely not my best work but they are finished and that is all I can say. NO pictures will be posted, they really are bad!

I haven't even logged on lately. Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the Christmas season. I know there is no catching up for me now!

HELP!!!! I'm on the "vacation" from

UGH!! I'm in Arizona in a little house full of 12 in-laws (including us) and 5 dogs, none of which are particularly housebroken. I'm sicker than a dog, with it coming out both ends (TMI, I know). Tessa, Henry, and Sawyer were all sick every other day we've been here. I've been covered in someone else's bodily fluids at least 2x a day.

Now, I love my in-laws, I truly do. But, I just want to be at home!!!! I miss you all and I can't wait until I can get back to chatting with you. Don't forget me!!!!

I went ahead and got Sew boutique 4 Dolly Volume 1. There are some patterns for girls that include a doll pattern, but there are also some with just 4 -5 doll patterns in each ebook.

Just skimmed: That Happiest Place On Earth picture is perfect for a signature line, Camping Griswalds!!!! I think it's the funniest thing, only because I collect pictures of Norah's diva moments at Disney. I have a collage scrapbook page planned.

Wisher/Dreamer-I love that snowflake bag! Holy cow!!! I've been wanting to make church bags for my kids to keep coloring books etc. in to keep them happy during church. You've inspired me!!!!

TSNCS- OH MY GOODNESS! that is a cute dress! Is the bodice blue velvet? Very pretty!

Stephres- uh ohhhhh! My dd is receiving a similar dolly for Xmas. So you're saying I'm going to have to make twinner outfits too? SWEET! I did stock up on doll patterns when they were 99 cents. This will be fun!

I'm glad you liked the bag. It would be great for coloring books because it is big! I like making bags a lot. I love putting neat trim on them. Also, unless you make your own ruffle there isn't any gathering!

Ooh, yuck! We had that going on last Christmas. I caught it from a neighbor and gave it to my two daughters, husband, sister, brother in law and mother all on Christmas Eve. Hee Hee! Merry Christmas to all! It was not so much fun, we could have used a few more bathrooms! Hope you get better soon!
