Ok, I had to go look this stuff up online. I think I've seen an informorcial for it? Anway, I am WAY to easily influenced by this board! I now so want some of this makeup. AND I NEVER wear makeup! Geesh guys! See what you do to me? Now I am obsessing over this makeup, that I would probably never wear anyway along with that Jasmine fabric that Deann posted WAAAAY back when, and Marie fabric!

I can see it now, I order this makeup and Brian sees it:
"Why did you just spend $100 on makeup? You don't even WEAR makeup"
"Yes, but T-beri and UtahMama love this makeup, so I had to have it."
"WHO??"
"You know, the Pepsi lady and the lady that lives in Weeki Wachi"
"Jord's Grandma is a mermaid?":confused3

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

:rotfl2:
What's the reason I started sewing and became addicted to this thread?
UTAH!
She's a BAD influence!
Run fast!
I don't wear makeup either, but I think about buying it all the time cuz of her!

:lmao:

Lisa - I hope you're feeling better!

eeyore - your kids are adorable!

I am back from shopping! Does it count as Christmas shopping if you spend more at the fabric store than anywhere else?:lmao:

Shopped online at Walmart-did NOT want to go into that store!
Went to the Mall,Target :scared1: and Joann's.

Gotta love flannel at .99 a yard!

I think I may stay home and sew-it is SCARY out there!

Good morning everyone!!! I hope that everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving!! Nana and I are off to Joann's. I've already been to 3 stores already (Sears, Beall's & Target), and DH has been to 2 (Walmart & Office Depot). So, now we're off to Joann's to see what they have!!!

I have to say that you know it's bad when the cops are called at some of these stores to keep the peace!!! :scared1:

I went to two different Wal-Marts this morning - the one that was in the better part of town was mobbed and had at least 4 cops patrolling - -

the one in a slightly worse part of town was dead! no one was in there and everyone was polite. :confused3

I think this will be the only year I go (they had GREAT deals on guitar hero stuff), but if I do it again, I'll go to the not so nice wal-mart.

My mom is at JoAnn's now. I'm hoping she's getting me a new rotary cutter.
and that she'll give it to me early. :rotfl2:

I bought fabric today too. It was the only quiet part of the first wal mart!

I LOVE Bare Minerals! It's amazing stuff! And if you don't wear makeup, this is the perfect makeup for you! It never feels like you have it on, you just look great! you really should give it a try!

I'm headed to Hancock's in just a bit. They don't open until 9:00. AND, I'll probably end up spending more on fabric than on anything else too! What's up with that?

Your kids are adorable, and I love that they are dressed in matching outfits.

Good Morning and Happy Friday!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. No shopping for me this morning. I hate crowds. I already have the kids Christmas hidden away.

Sorry your dress didn't get done in time t-beri. I have seen that apple fabric in the stores and I think it is adorable, I can't wait to see what you make with it.

I am debating on sewing or putting up Christmas decorations. I am leaning towards sewing though. I think I may work on an apron top for DD and overalls for DS.

Have a great day!

You guys are so cute!!!!! Ok, who else wants Wendy's hair!!! Do you cut it yourself? I am considering taking your picture with me next time I get a haricut! Or, hmmm, how far is Utah from Michigan.....

The dodge ball episode is my favorite too! Nope, you neve lent the DVDs to me. My only memories of the shows is what I saw when it was actually on TV. I'm guessing Jenny.

Boring boring Joe. He was kind of cute though. Joe broke up with Heather right before I left for a week to go to the UP. I told Brian, "You know, she is going to have another boyfriend by the time we get back." And, she did! :lmao: It was Henry, so that worked out well!
I want Wendy's hair!!! My hair is so thin, I'd have to have a major "comb forward" (as opposed to a comb over) to have that many bangs.

I never loaned it to Jenny (I was joking, I learned my lesson long ago), maybe David still has it! ETA: I just called and he doesn't have it either!

Yep, boring 'ol Joe, was pretty cute. I never dreamed I'd find an even cuter guy at the mall a few days after he dumped me- or that he'd end up being the perfect guy for me and that I'd end up marrying him and having 2 wonderful children!!

Guess what Corey did????

He used his own money and bought me a Zune! (like an Ipod) They were on sale at Meijer today. He ordered it online for me, since they didn't have any in the stores! I'm so excited! Do I have the BEST 15 year old in the world, or what!!!! :cloud9:
That's my boy!!! I just love him!! What'd he get for his aunt Heather!?

I have confession to make. I've only skimmed the last 15 pages. If anyone has said anything to me, or about me, I've missed it. Sorry. I just scrolled through to see a few outfits and lots of pictures of hunks from the 70's. BUT, I'm back now, and I'll do my best to keep up! Hope you've all had a great Thanksgiving!
Well, I guess you'll never know what we said about you, then...:rolleyes1 ;)

This is so cute!!! I want to applique some gingerbread men on a shirt for Tessa.

I've been dealing with some physical issues over the past few weeks and ended up getting behind on my work. I'm now mostly caught up but getting there meant cutting back on my computer time... and this thread.
I hope you get to feeling better!

I just realized something- not only does your older DD look like my SIL, JoJo looks like my niece (SIL's daughter)! You're not related to the Pound family from California/Arizona, are you? :lmao:

I can see it now, I order this makeup and Brian sees it:

"Jord's Grandma is a mermaid?":confused3
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:Just remember, Teresa, OWNING the makeup does not count. You'd actually have to apply it!! I was tempted also and then remembered that I would never actually put it on!

I don't know if anyone read my post a few days ago about having a hard time this Thanksgiving. It's our first Thanksgiving without Henry's Grandpa. His name was Stan and he was one of my best friends, as well as my Grandpa. He used to do all the cooking on Thanksgiving and we always went to their house. This year, Henry's Grandma Jo (Stan's widow) and some of her family/friends came to our house. We made it through with no tears, until Jo gave me my birthday present (my birthday is tomorrow, the 24th). First, here's the cake she got me:

Then, she gave me this gift:

I couldn't stop crying. This is Stan's cross that he wore every day of his life, for as long as I knew him. She gave it to ME. I was so overwhelmed with emotion and thanks for such a wonderful gift. She said he would have wanted me to have it and that he loved me SO much. I can hardly type this because I'm crying again.

Here's a picture of Stan, Jo, and Me being silly on Thanksgiving a few years ago (he's wearing the necklace). He was a tough looking old guy (a retired cop), but he was a big 'ol marshmallow:

I just wanted to share this emotional event with all my new friends (and Teresa, of course). I knew you guys would understand.

Ok, you succeeded! I'm crying now! What an amazing gift I'm sure that you will always, always treasure it! Happy Birthday!

I just got back from my Black Friday shopping too! I went to Michael's to get the cricut, but it was sold out. A couple of hours later, my DH called - he was at WalMart, and they had a cricut for $119. He picked it up for me. Then I went to Hobby Lobby and picked up the Mickey and Friends, Dreams Come True and Happily Ever After cartridges. I can't wait to play!

heather - what a great gift. Are you going to wear it or keep it?
It might be nice to do a frame with a picture, the necklace and maybe some journaling.
