She is SOOOOO stinkin CUTE!!!!!! That adorable face of hers just makes me smile! This outfit is adorable! I love the little snowmen!

As for where the cold weather is, it's here, right here! It is suppose to snow tonight and tomorrow! UGGH! I don't think I'm ready for this. But, at least I don't live in Alaska! :cool1:

Jeff goes to the Automotive building at Barley Mill the Thursday before the June Dover race. He does an employee meet and greet. If you know someone that works for DuPont's (and Nemours doesn't count), you can get in line to meet him. He takes special care with the handicap children that are there to see him. He comes out from behind the counter and gets down to thier level to speak with them. They have a huge set up with a mdse trailer, lots of show cars. Sam Bass is there (he designs the paint schemes). Steve Letarte. I love to go over.

http://community.webshots.com/user/sallyfromde My pictures of Jeff.

As for DuPonts, I have been to the mansion, but not in many years. My favorite is Hagley and I usually go every few years to visit. The in between years, I try to make a visit to one of the other sites. I went to HS in Greenville. AI duPont, what else?

I'm not done with these, but was impatient to share them. They are for dd8 & dd7 to wear to BBB then MVMCP.

I can't wait to get these finished! Hopefully at least Cinderella will be done tonight. Then I'll just have to finish Belle and both pair of matching jeans!!! My mom is coming over today to teach me buttonholes & zippers 101... should be fun!!!

I second Teresa's opinion of Josephine and her outfit! She is TOOOO cute!!!!

Teresa, it most certainly is NOT going to snow tonight! You jusgt need to believe! :pixiedust:

I haven't been at the computer much for the last few days, so I've missed a lot. But, I'm not feeling good today, so this is about all I can do. I tried to skim through the last few days of posts, but I got overwhelmed at the thought of commenting on everything I wanted to comment on. So, I gave myself permission to skip a few pages. :scared1: I KNOW!!!

Very cute!!! I keep seeing tops like this one. Did you use a pattern?

hi - so cute - do you remember how much you cut off the bottom of the jeans and how long your ruffle strips were? they look exactly how i want mine to look!!!!!!!

what I did is figure out where I want the bottom ruffle inseam length to land. so lets say it is a 10in inseam. I want the ruffle to be 1 1/2 inches long. so then I cut the jeans at 8 1/2 inseam. so I take 1 1/2 inches of the jeans, the same length as the finished ruffle. then I atach the ruffle length. hope that makes sense

YCMT of course.

Feel better soon . It has to be this crazy weather. one day cold two days hot. I wish it would make up it's mind. :confused3

Your outfit is adorable!! I wish it were in the 60's here let alone in the 90's!!

billwendy - I have another way to do a bottom ruffle on a pair of jeans... If you have a pair of jeans that fit good everywhere, but they are getting too short. Instead of cutting off the hem, pin your ruffle to the inside of the leg - adjust the ruffle length so the jeans fit again!! My DD has gotten too tall for her size 4 jeans, so I use them in her custom sets. I hate to cut a new pair of jeans!! I've just run out of jeans that are to short though!! Anyway, here's an example...

You're going to see the seam, but if you use a dark thread, you'll never notice it. This is how I did the double ruffle for her Thanksgiving set too.

Wow. I have been spending more time than I actually have looking at all of the great creations! I am not even to page 400, but I had to comment and compliment everyone on the beautiful items!! Maybe one day I'll feel confident enough to post the things I've made.

I have a LOT to do for our trip in April, since last time we went to WDW, "mickey" made dd daily outfits, and this time both of my kids are already asking if I could make them instead, lol.

Anyone got any good suggestions for little boy outfits? I have seen the overalls, and they're adorable. I ususally do tee shirt with shorts outfits, but I was thinking about tryig something else for a few of the days.

Anyway, thanks for the inspiration! :worship:  :cloud9:

that is another great way of doing it also. I never have the length problem with josephine it is the waist! she outgrows the waist before the length

I want to make DD some peasant tops.
"How to Make a Peasant top"
http://www.youcanmakethis.com/info/featured-products/How-to-Make-a-Peasant-Top.htm

I also would prefer one that had both long and short sleeves included.

this is the one I use. you can make the shirt length whatever you wanted with any pattern. add inches or cut some length off.

I can only hope that my DS(3) one day meets & marries a cutie pie like your DD! :cutie: Alas, I think she may be a tad older than him for now? (I'm only guessing).....

I LOVE these! Great job! Did you use those pillow form prints of Belle & Cincerella? How did you stitch around them? They are very well done!
revrob, you wrote the words out from underneath me!!! :surfweb: I have these fabrics to start a applique on an outfit for my niece & man o live, those stitches would have to be tiny or consume the entire face of a princess! Great job on these & I'm very anxious to see the results posted! I've already determined to CASE them!

Where did you find these adorable Tink jeans? At Disney store? Or did you hand paint them? I have a T-Shirt with that same Tink on it "The Many Expressions of Tink" & I've loved to to death! My boys love me in it. I'm adding this to the bazillion other things to CASE for my niece!

Heather Sue...great to see you! It's 85 here today & dipping into the 50's the rest of the week! I miss the snow.

I'm sorry that you're not feeling well. Stay cozy & warm today & all your DIS friends will cheer you up! :grouphug:

:welcome: We love having new people around here!! Don't ever feel too shy to post your creations. We know that everyone has different skill levels and we love them all!

My advice to you is not to try and "catch up" with this thread! You never will if you're only at page 400! Go to the photobucket site (link in the first post in this thread) and check out all the pictures on there and then get posting!

Feel better soon . It has to be this crazy weather. one day cold two days hot. I wish it would make up it's mind. :confused3
Thank you!

I don't miss the snow and it hasn't been that long since we saw it!! I would be happy to have weather in the 70's every day of the year!
 Thanks to you, too. It always cheers me up to check the boards!
