I can do that. Wow, this may be the first time I've got to add MYSELF to the bookmarks! :cool1:

done! I put it under tops.

Just a reminder, if anyone is trying to find something on the bookmarks site, there is a search link at the top of the page that can help! Sometimes when I don't remember where I put something, I use that.

Cool thanks for adding it. I am sure that I wouldn't find it-or remember where it was when I actually wanted to use it!!! Great info and pics.

Teresa! You are not cutting all that out with preschool safety scissors are you? Where are your real scissors? I am laughing so hard! :rotfl2:

Um, thank you for adding to the bookmarks. That is way too much for me to try to absorb on a first reading. I might have to bring the fabric over to the computer when I try it! You are awesome!

HEHE! I actually used my rotary cutter, to cut the fabric but I was trying to take a picture with one hand and hold scissors with the other, so I thought the litlte Fiskers safety scissors was the best option for my accident prone self!

Susan your grandson is beautiful. I know not a great word for a boy ... but he is ;). How wonderful that he has been such a blessing to your family as your family has been to him. :goodvibes: Thank you for sharing your families story.

My question for you guys is when you are making a tutu or a tulle dress do you find it easier to make them using the tulle "ribbon" or just regular tulle off the bolt. If I buy it off the bolt do I cut it into strips? Also any ideas on how much I need to buy? I am going to make the tulle "dresses" that you see on voldemort. Length may be down to the knee or just below the girls are all going to wear leggings underneath and a leotard or undershirt.

Mytwotinks, KitKate, Tnmom25, teresajoy and sahm1000 thanks for the comments.

KitKate go to Walmart as tnmom25 said that is where I got my material. I do want to try to applique one day, but time is tooo short right now.

Susan your story is sooo inspirational! You can see the love in his eyes...

I LOVE THIS THREAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I will be back with tons of pictures. I have never noticed this before!

I wanna know who does teresa heart???

And I need a little encouragement- I made, well mostly made a pillow case top for DD when I showed it to DH he kinda looked at me like what is that supposed to be- They just don't understand, but it still bums me out when I am excited about something I made :goodvibes and he brings me down :guilty:

I just have to do the bias tape or ribbon on the sleeve edges.

I think it turned out pretty good except I made the top hem to big and had to cut bigger sleeve holes, still looks fine. Glad I tried it, it was pretty easy and forgiving when I made a mistake. I'm going to make a little skirt too- I got sucked into making a custom for animal kingdom, your guys were great inspiration- thanks for giving me another project to finish before our trip in 20 days :rotfl: :rotfl: :scared1:

I hope she feels better soon. I know it is not easy when the dc are sick.

My 10dd gets pneumonia all the time. She started that when she was an infant.

Thank you! We just started an antibiotic hope it helps! Sorry to hear that! I'm sure thats hard for u and your daughter! zill keep her in prayers!

I heart Brian  That is "The Board" actually a drafting board I think. We had one growing up, very very useful. You can use it for a little desk for writing and drawing, a place to put on nailpolish, play with playdough, doodle your loved ones names etc... After I got married, I told my mom how much I missed "the board" so, for a housewarming gift, she bought me one! At first it looked much too new, but it's aged well over the years! And, since the first "board" had my Teresa hearts Brian on it, I had to put it on this one too!

Everyone needs a "board"!

Good luck on the pillowcase dress! When i made one for Lydia I made a simple little tie to put around the waist. Because she is so skinny she kind of got lost in it!

I thought it was probably your hubby, so funny you recreated your "old" board-
I'm actually attempting to make a shirt and add a ruffle on the bottom and make another patchwork skirt to go with it. I bought animal and jungley prints at JoAnns last weekend.
I've been infected with "the can't go into a store without looking and maybe even buying some fabric disease".
Hello my name is anna and I have a problem- :rotfl2: I know you guys can feel my pain:rotfl:

Whoa, I totally missed something.. Okay, why did we wanna know who TJ hearts??? Not that it's not an important thing to know, but I realize that I missed something...

Wasn't that nice of minigirl to offer me pins... you guys are so sweet!! I am cashing in some change to pay for an e-bay lot of pins I won before I went BUST...which is a little hard for me, cause I always get a little worried about e-bay transactions and as hard as money is to come by I'm a little stressed that this will be the one to go south...

Anyway, I gotta get outta here, I'll try to get back on and post later...I'll try to get a pic of the minnie dot pants set tonight.

PS.. I will get around to commenting on all of the wonderful adopters we have around here when I have a chance to write at length and when there are tissues near by.

On the top of page 1079 teresa had posted pictures/ directions for the sleeves. On the board/table in the corner it says teresa hearts and you can't see the name.

Bwa-hahahahaha!!!! Perfect blackmail pictures! I have a feeling in his dating years, he will be VERY good boy! :rotfl2:

MY LAUGH MUSCLES ARE HURTING!!!!

Thank you so much for sharing Nick's story and the pictures. :sad1: <---That's what I look like right now, but not blue. What a gorgeous child he is!

Also, scrunchies are much easier to make than those stupid bows (no offense, Heather!).
:snooty: What- EVER! ;)

Absolutely beautiful! The outfits are great too! :lmao: I cracky myself up! I really like how you used the black background with the princesses! Very cute!

I know exactly what to do with the rolled hem foot. Listen carefully... wrap the foot in bubble wrap, insert into envelope, address to TnMom25 and drop in mailbox! See how simple that is! :rotfl: And you thought it would be complicated!!!!
Hardy-har-har. Okay, I must admit I actually LOLed at that one! You cracky me up (is it getting old yet?)!

Poor kid, the only pictures momma takes is when he's stuck somewhere or wearing sissys bows! (I also have a picture of him with daddy's boxers on his head!! :thumbsup2)

bsusanmb - Your pics of little Nicholas just broke my heart. He looks like he is doing great now and the looks on your DD and Dsil faces just show how much love they have for him.

Ladies I need help. My dd7 has to be a yellow jacket for her school musical. They have to wear T-shirts and Jeans but you can accessorize the rest of the costume. I have a yellow T-shirt that I was going to put black ribbon on to make the yellow jacket body and then pipe cleaners for the antennas but what can I do for the wings? They can't stand out too much because 109 kids will all be standing together and on risers. I have black tulle. Any suggestions on how to attach, shape, etc some wings? Thanks for any ideas.
