Kids Disney Boutique / Customs Clothes Part 4

Also, here is the fabric I picked up today for dd7 & dd8's BBB Christmas dresses.

One will have the red and gold, the other will have the blue and I need to find some silver to match... no luck yet! I'm thinking a layered tulle skirt (I know I said I'd never make another one, but I figure this is special and it needs to be done special) and a long sleeve white tshirt with fur cuffs and snowflake appliques. I'd any other ideas!!!

Beverly is the most DELICIOUS drink in ALL the entire world!!!! YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY!!! MMMMMM You MUST try it when you go to EPCOT!! It use to be in Ice Station Cool, but they've changed the name now. It's the place in Epcot that gives out free samples of Coke products from different countries.

I love these outfits! When I gave Beverly to Lydia for the first time, she promptly threw up ALL over! It was so gross! (Although, Corey and I were cracking up laughing!)

At fountain drink stations throughout Club Cool, you get to sample different ones.(See my siggie picture!) Beverly is NASTY designed to increase appetite. It stays with you for a while, but you simply must sample a sip if you go to Epcot. Fun to trick newbies with such a sweet sounding soda!

I AM writing a TR. It takes me a WHILE. What I do is write a chapter, then announce it to my "friends" (YOU). My pictures are all in Photobucket, so I just gotta get a move on. It's a lot of work and people try to hurry me up...I am very bad at being punctual with it. It'll be fun! Well, hopefully this one will be as fun as last year. I worry because I've already descried my opinion of each ride and attraction. I'll try to keep it fresh.

Speaking of sewing, I just drug all my sewing gear out of my kitchen to my bedroom. Ya know, I have a big dining area

I have some outfits to mend already from our trip. Gads, Princess Pissy is hard on clothes!

Woo Hoo! I have Lydia's Buzz Lightyear Redondo Spiral skirt all cut out! Now, to sew it together! There was a screaming and crying fit to be had by each and every one of my kids this afternoon, which kind of through me off schedule in sewing. It was seriously a MAD house here for awhile! But then I made supper and the idea of me actully COOKING shocked them all into silence!

So everyone needed a wardrobe redo for the wedding, I thought it was safe to put all those summer things away,Oh Well I guess it is nice to a few lingering summery days before the -10 hits Anyway here are the pictures:

Hehehehe! I just couldn't resist!!!! One year, I had my entire family (I think there were only 12 or 14 of us that year though)all hyped up about trying the WONDERFUL Beverly!!! I went on and on about how great it was suppose to be! OHHH, it was priceless!!!

Oh I doubt there will be much getting lucky on this trip- There is no grandma or auntie coming with to provide any "alone time" if you know what I mean..... With a almost 4 year old in the room I don't think I could be that intimate. He is just no noticing that is sister doesn't have something that he has. I was wondering when that would get noticed. I just said girls don't have those and he didn't ask any more questions and I didn't offer anymore info., but I'm sure it will come up again. It is getting late better go to bed before I get cracky or decide to tackle some laundry and end up in the ER again

Finally have a photo to post. This is an Epcot skirt that I finished today. There are little Epcot balls wearing Mickey ears here and there all over it.
I think it came out okay.I have to start the shirt soon.

Love it! You did a great job, and took a lot of time adding those EPCOT designs..did you make the petticoat? I want to make one if it isn't too time consuming and annoying...there is a pattern on YCMT...did you buy it or make it????

Poor little Makayla is so confused since returning from the World. She believes that Grandma lives at Disney World...probably because we stay at SSR in a one or two BR the two times she was with us. She keeps asking to go to the Nemo show and the Lion King show...I babysat her on Sat and she was belting out the tunes from the Nemo show all through Waldemart and AC Moore...attracting quite an audience "THat's My Dad"...if anyone has seen Nemo, it is awesome and she loves musicals...so we bought her the CD. DId you know that the man who plays Nemo's dad and the woman who plays Nemo are married and they wrote this musical? It is amazing...really OT I know. I just feel so bad for Makalya..she really is so mixed up. She has a little table and chair in the corner of her living room with a DVD personal player and she just watches all her Disney movies over and over and over...anyone else have this scenario with their almost 3 year old?

It is in the 90's here in PA...unbelievably warm. Bought some inexpensive leggings at Target today so that she can wear all her Disney creations to day care (school as they call it)...I am almost finished with her Halloween outfits...I have so enjoyed this message board and seeing all of the beautiful customs and got lots of ideas...how great is that???

Oh, why am I here at 4am??? Got a terrible cold when I returned and my meds keep me awake...glad that we are off on Monday...gotta love Christopher Columbus...

Back to Joann's in am for more sales. Our Valdemart in Harrisburg had a huge fabric department and I got tons of fabric...and AC Moore - may just be a local chain had 40 percent off all their scrapbooking supplies and I got bags of stickers and paper...now I need to find the time to do it!

So glad to be a grandma...

My DD5 saw your siggie pic and said, "Hey, I know that place. It's Club Cool at Epcot." I was shocked she knew the place from your photo and equally shocked she knew the name. DH thinks we go to WDW too often and this clinched it for him. But I KNOW there's no such thing as going too often to WDW.

glad you guys had a great time! loved all of the outfits...mrs tater head is one of my faves! speaking of which, i know someone had asked you the formula and you said each row made the squares twice the size of the previous (4in, 8in, 16in) ive never tried it this way, but bought fabric to do so. one dumb question before i cut... that means that if row 1 is 4x4in sq, the next row is 4x8, then 4x16, right? only the lenght of the patch is doubling right? just thought id check. thanks for your help!

Yes, you are exactly right on the measurements!

I *might* be selling some of her customs from our trip. I just have to uncover them from the pile of vacation clothes, and get them cleaned and pressed for their "new" owner.

A couple of them weren't even worn!
It is so hard to get a 5 year old out of a pool when it is over 90 degrees. out with 100% humidity, and into a cool and comfy outfit that I made for her.
Oh well, that is a story for another day!

And... it must be a curse! We just returned from Disney, and we are all down for the count with colds, and sinus issues! It doesn't help that we are having record heat here too.

Everyone's outfits have been so great! I still have a Halloween sumptin'-sumptin' to make, and then onto the Christmas stuff.
