  I thought I was the only one who did this! In fact two weeks ago we lost my daughter's glasses. We looked all over the house in all the usual spots. Then both my hubby and I combed the house. We gave up and went to bed. The next morning I was beginning to panic since we had to bring her to school. Finally I asked my angel (which is either an angel or God Himself) where the baby's glasses were. Out came the answer...popped right in my head and I repeated it outloud to my DH. We headed right to the spot and there they were.....in a bottom of a box headed for the trash can! Good thing we got them before the trashman!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Three Cheers for God!!!!!!
I do this too!

I'll have to look for that!

I'm so excited! I learned how to make a new kind of bow today, and I made two!

Lydia is gowing crazy over tha Cinderella bow! She has even made up a little song to it. It goes something like "I'm a Cinderella bow, lalala, I'm a Cinderella bow, lalalala." Hey, she's only 4! :lmao:

I'm crying like a little baby!!!!! That is just precious! I didn't even want to make them thumbnail size, they deserve a full page! I can't wait to take my dd2, she is going to be in awe!
Deann, I didn't know you were as big of a sap as me!!!

Here is a better photo of Belle...can you just see how in awe little Makayla is??? She couldn't stop grinning...and here is her lipstick mark from Cinderella...she didn't want to wash it off!!! What a wonderful night...I don't know who was more excited, Makayla or me just watching the expressions on her face!!!! I told her she is one lucky little 2 year old!

Will post more tomorrow...who knows what tomorrow holds? And which outfits we will try tomorrow???

Susan:love:
I love the pictures!!! Makayla is so adorable!!! I love those curls!!!

You are too sweet! Well, her mommy did the hair...she has really fine and very curly hair...it isn't easy to do much with it, but the price was right and she is too young to do the BBBoutique...I was in tears myself just watching her. When she looked over her shoulder and saw each princess coming her way one by one, she just was so excited she couldn't contain herself. But that little alcove with Belle in it, you can't see her until the host escorts you forward, and there was Belle in that beautiful gown!!! Oh, it was breathtaking...we are going back this week for lunch...it was so worth it....I just love being a grandma...

Susan

We loved the Norway buffet too!!!
and
I just love being a Mommy!

The little crowns are the ones they use at the BBBoutique. They are sold in WDW in almost all of the shops now. I got this one at MGM in a bin of little crowns at the first shop on the left as you go in. They have them at World of Disney store downtown Disney also. It worked so well because it is small and has a little come on the top rather than at the ends of the crown. During the day she wore it with her Minnie dress..all I did was pull up a little big of hair in that Minnie Mouse band and then slid that comb into it. They are so cute and come in different color accents...$10. I didn't think that was bad for WDW....

 Susan
I saw some little crowns like that at Walmart (right before I cut my fabric myself!) for $5. I usually get them at Claire's when they go on clearance. One time they had them included in the buy 10 for $5 deal!

I need some advice and figured you ladies (and gentleman) would be great to ask.

As silly as it sounds, my DD (6) does not know HSM is a movie. She has seen the Pep Rally at MGM several times and also saw the stars live when they were filming the Christmas parade last year. I "think" what she likes about HSM is the cheerleading and the music.

Now of course they have HSM stuff everywhere, the dolls, books etc. I don't think she puts it together that the dolls are from the movie (if that makes sense). So my question is this-should I buy her the movie? Is there anything "objectional" about it? Has your 6 year old seen the movie and did they like it? I think there is a lot of singing in the movie?

Can you tell I am HSM clueless?:lmao:

It would be fine for a 6 year old, or any age if you ask me! If she likes singing and dancing, she'll love it!

Just popping in quickly with the new JoAnn's coupons.

Love the outfits!!! Your girls are adorable!
I keep waiting for a white rabbit to slap me and say "wake up Alice, you're in wonderland!!" :rotfl:

I'm cracking up over that one!!!

Well, I'm off to my Mommy's house! She's leaving for a week to go to Colorado tomorrow! :sad1:

I just wanted to give a BIG HUG to all you parents out there that have angels. I was afraid I would miss someone if I started the quote thing and I didn't want to do that.

I have an angel in Heaven too. We had a miscarriage in 1999, I was 10 weeks. I will never forget that baby or the days/weeks that followed those 2 horrible days.

I think Jennwdw put it best:
I miss them but there was another plan for me and for them and had I not had them and lost them I may have never known my other children and I don't know that I would change anything about my life and my story....Really the phrase "I'm sorry" makes me crazy because I'm not sorry at all. Please don't be offended, I understand the sentiment but for me personally I don't feel sorry at all for the way life has twisted and turned for us. ...I have 5 beautiful children and had the first 2 not been born and then died I probably would have never known my other three and I just can't imagine that at all!!!

I have been blessed with two children and they are my absolute world. If things had been different, they wouldn't be here.

So hugs to all of you that have told your story and those that haven't.

I'm sure this has been answered but there is nothing questionable in it. DD7 and DS5 both absolutely love it. Dh and I watched it before we let them see it because I was concerned, but there is nothing bad at all! She will love it!!

Hi All! We just got home from WDW yesterday :sad1:. I looked back a few pages at all the great oufits (and prom pics - LOL) - BEAUTIFUL!

I can't believe all the food we ate! The dining plan is MORE than enough food - and we had a character meal every day but the last when we went to Whispering Canyon.

I ran into Utahmama at on our last day! We didn't really get to chat much - we met in the food court - the day they arrived, the evening before we left. It was mass chaos in there! We were spending the rest of our credits on food to bring home - LOL! I was looking at snacks and I hear this "OH MY GOSH! I know that outfit" - LOL - she noticed Emma's outfit from the site. I wish we could have chatted a bit.

I am thinking of making DD a pair of the decopage jeans - but am wondering how they look washed and frayed - and if I will like it. Does anyone have a pair that have been washed several times to show me? TIA!

Well - I am off to catch up on - well - everything around here - laundry, dishes, mail, bills, etc.

A little off topic- but it I need to coordinate outfits.
Has anyone been to the 1900 Park Fair Breakfast? Which characters are there? We had to rework our dining plan. Since we were able to get Hollywood and Vine I had to ditch 1900 dinner. I am not sure who is there.
QUOTE]
We were just there! They had Alice, the Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins, Tigger and Pooh.

I love that your girls coordinate - very cool! Did you make the skirts too? I've got appliques down (I like to embelish) but at this point skirts like that are beyond me. Very nice!

Thank you so much yes I did make the skirts. Just don't look too close and you will be fine. I love making coordinating outfits. I feel like I am not leaving anyone one out that way.

We just got back yesterday too. Had a great time but very tired now. Saw a few customs but not many. Was anyone here at Crystal Palace Thursday 9/20 for lunch around 1:00 or 1:30 with a little girl wearing a pooh pillowcase dress? It looked familiar with 100 acre woods embroidered on the bottom.

We got some nice attention from CMs in our coordinating family outfits and Lauren loved meeting all the characters.

bsusanmb Your DD has the same type of hair my DD does..yet you can style it so well! I can never do anything with my DD's! It is always crazy looking! LOL Pigtails are the only "creative" things I have done with it! LOL

I can tell you that my almost 6yr old LOVES anything HSM or HSM2. She has the soundtrack to the first one, and she sings it all the time, along with watching the movie! And, the second one we have recorded from the premier on our DVR, so she can watch it over and over again!

For us, I don't see anything objectionable at all.

My DD has a crazy head full of curls too.. we almost always have it twisted up in a clip. My hair is poker straight and I don't have a clue what to do with them.:rotfl:

It's been years since I've collected autographs at Disney...I'm in the process of making a book for my DD4. I already have the princesses & of course the mouses, but don't remember if characters like Pluto, Donald, Pooh etc can sign. Are there characters who can't sign? Just trying to think of who to include! The list could be very lengthy!

There are characters who can stamp there names and there are characters who can't sign. There is a list of characters and where and when you can see them on themouseforless.com ALSO Aimeeg has a pdf file of about 128 characters all ready to be printed out and bound. I had mine done w/ a wire spiral for about 3 bucks at office depot. if you're calling around, office depots wire spirals are a little more expensive than Staples but they charge FAR less for cutting the paper if you haven't done so yourself. So in the end it was almost half of what it would've been at staples. and NOONE will print the pages out or copy them since the pics are copyrighted. But there you go. Hope that helps.

We got back yesterday, too. I checked and we were at Crystal Palace on 9/21, not 9/20, so, it wasn't us. But my little one was wearing a Pooh pillowcase dress. It had her name "Karlee" embroidered on the bottom.

We didn't see very many customs either. I met a lady at Akershuse on 9/17 that had her kids in customs.

They got alot of attention and my DD8 LOVED telling them that I made them. She is a true extrovert so, she ate it up.

We just got back. Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Piglet, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Aurora, Cinderella and Belle all signed. We have a nice pillowcase that I applliqued a Mickey head on that we used for the signatures - a nice keepsake for DD.

I want to post just one photo of our trip. This was taken at Crystal Palace for lunch on Thursday 9/20. These were the first characters DD saw and she was thrilled. You should know that DD is normally very shy and cautious in new situations but she LOVED the characters. She was bouncing in her seat waiting for her turn (she was remarkably good at waiting too.). Mommy was thrilled.:cloud9:

She is wearing a Minnie dot pillowcase dress so this isn't totally off-topic.

OK finally..here are the outfits I have been working on for weeks..I will start with my son's:
