Well, we just got back Monday night from a great Disney cruise and 4 nights at the Poly. We had a wonderful time. I can't tell you all the attention DD got from her outfits...the CMs and characters loved them, and people stopped me several times a day to ask where I got her outfits. :goodvibes One lady stopped us just to take a picture of her pirate outfit, and a really nice CM on the ship took DD around to show her outfit off to other CMs...it was pretty cool!

Here a some pics with some of her outfits. It's sad, but there were a few she never wore. Oh well, maybe a good excuse to go back again soon! ;)

Wow...absolutely adorable! Love all of them....we want to see more!!! :thumbsup2

It took me awhile to post these. This is the 1st day of school outfit for dd6. She started 1st grade a couple weeks ago:sad1: I miss her.

Beautiful!!! She looks so happy too! :)

I am almost hesitant to post pictures of this outfit after the ABOMINABLE SNOWMAN! How can you go after that masterpiece? But anyways, I need your affirmation so here goes:

Wow that was so fast....you must have worked on it all night! Great job...I really love all of the fabrics together like that!

This is my latest boy outfit ^_^ I wanted to add the pic of him crashed on the couch after these pics but thought that might be too many.

OH MY!!!! Yes...hey...more Land of Misfit toys fabric for ME, since it wouldn't really make sense to anyone who hasn't seen Rudolph.

You know my DD is begging & begging & begging me to do a Halloween costume this year (considering I have an orange sweatshirt that says "Official Halloween Chaperone") and she thinks I should wear something different. Maybe I'll be Dolly!!! I hadn't thought of anything but I like Dolly. LOL!!! I could handle making that outfit.

I love Dolly, but I could never figure out why she was on the island. My favorite though is the polka dot elephant. I'm trying to find a stuffed elephant pattern like that so I can make my own.

I love pirate Mickey! Great set!

BTW, today is Talk Like a Pirate Day.

Don't panic!! We aren't all that weird! We were just raised Jehovah's Witnesses! I still am, Heather isn't.
:)

Oh, well, in that case I quess I understand. :goodvibes

Now whenever I hear the 1985 Bowling for Soup song . . . I will think of you. :goodvibes

OT- My DH and 10th class reunion is next month. For us to go it is $150. Are we being cheap by not wanting to go. It just seems like a lot of money for dinner and a two hour open bar at the local Sheraton.

$150- That is dinner at the Crystal Palace and breakfast at 1900 Park Fair in December. -or- 2 Princess costumes and a trip to BBB. -or- the electric bill.:rotfl:

That's close to what it was for my 10th a few years ago (Class of 1994). I didn't go. I figured there wouldn't be more than 1 or 2 people I wanted to see that I didn't see anyway & they probably wouldn't be there.

Okay, here is the latest and greatest . . .

I really like that. I love the princess fabric. Mind sharing where you found it?

This question is for all the Kansas City girls on here.

We are making an unexpected trip to KC to see my nephew before he leaves for Iraq. We are staying near I-35 & Shawnee Mission Pkwy in Merriam.

Do you guys know of any good fabric shops near this area? :confused3 Not sure how much time I will have but would love to know where some are in case.

Thanks....

I am not 100% sure. It was either Jo Ann's or Wally's. I know it was new because it was in a plastic wrapper. It was pretty expensive. Around $9 a yard. I used a whole yard on the skirt. EEK:scared1:

I like this outfit, especially the top. And of course, I love the pink bedroom. My daughter's bedroom had been that same color until this summer when she wanted to get rid of the pink for lime green and purple. She wanted a more "grown up" room because she turned 10! :sad2:

And by the way, Class of 88 here. My 20th is next May and our reunions here are cheap but just an excuse for most of them to get drunk. Not looking forward to it! :scared:

Hi Again from WDW!
Everyone is asleep here after a long day that started with breakfast with Lilo and Stitch and ended with Illuminations at Epcot. Thought I would pop on and post a couple more pictures of our trip - I hope you all don't mind. I am already dreading leaving on Sunday! I did get to browse all the new creations - I am still waiting to see Tweedle Dum and Dee modelled along with the famous Sleeping Beauty dress.

Love it Aimee!!!! I hope that Ebay seller does REALLY well with that set! ;)

But, come on, let's see some more pictures of that fabulous bedroom!!!

I was just 9, but my DH graduated that year! :goodvibes Anybody from the mid ninetys say... 1995?

My dh graduated when I was 9 too! This way, we are pretty much the same age mentally! :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao:

ETA: I had to go back and look at your pictures, to see what your husband looked like!

I just LOOOVE seeing your pictures from your trip!!! Thank you so much for taking the time to post while you are there! I have to live through other people's trips (Yah, I know there is an actual word for that, but I don't know how to spell it, so I'm not even going to try!) until we go in 226 days!!

Class of '91. Our prom theme was Reflections because 1991, weren't we creative.

There is a Joann's at Nieman and Shawnee Msn Pkwy. A quilt shop at around 75th and Quivira called Prairie Pointe and one at around 78th and Santa Fe (between Metcalf and Antioch) called Harper's. I'm sure there are a couple of Wal-marts around there and possibly a Hobby Lobby but I'm not sure.

You look like you are having a wonder ful time. Has the tooth fairy visited your DD there in WDW?

I love your photos. This one with Pluto is my favorite!

Also class of '91!!!!! I beleive that our song was either "Pour some sugar on me" or "Love in an elevator" I'll have to ask a friend to double check that though. I am certain that is was something at least equally awesome if it wasn't one of those two though.

I was going to suggest Harper's too! I really love that for a quilt shop. I have a friend further that direction. I'll ask her if she knows of another close to where you'll be. I am more in the direction of south Overland Park. I think you said earlier in this thread (about 700 pgs. back probably) that you were familiar with that area. I hit JoAnn and Hancock around that area.

That is what I always say, when people are shocked when they find out our age difference. I've always hung out with an older crowd, and he the younger, infact it was my DBIL who is 4 1/2 years older than me who introduced us! I hang out with my sister's age and I marry her husband's friend. Too funny, now I think back...

Now to get this back on topic I did do some fabric shopping today for two different applique projects. One for a scarecrow outfit for the pumpkin patch, and the doodle bop outfit for next March. I just love Wal-mart $1-2 clearance rack! Here's the outfit I'm going to copy, only onto a jumper, no jeans...

Hopefully that is legal. If not I'll delete it. It already ended.
