Thanks again for the help. I actually got to investigate dumbo fabric for teresajoy I searched all morning for her and finally found some Dumbo fabric and stuff for her. I figure she does so much to help me and answer questions give tips and what not I could finally help her with something. So sorry for rambling but thanks to all of you for all your help and support and great tips. Oh and always having a link handy to go to at 3 am.

One of my leaf appliques on my Ds's overalls is pulling out. I think it is because it is on his knee. I don't know what to do. I guess pull the leg seam out again and re-sew it.

You're quotes are messing up. I didn't call you a hog! (Although I might have thought it.) I did talk about the one needle and long U-shaped item. So that's crocheting, huh? Well, the blanket is the only thing I know how to do. Maybe I'll have to look at those instructions on YCMT. Hmm...Do I really want to add another item to my neverending pile of stuff that needs started/finished?

I haven't been on the boards in a few days, so I'm going to try to catch up on everything. But, first I wanted to post the nightgowns I made Tessa and her dolls on Tuesday. I used the YCMT peasant shirt/dress pattern. It went really smoothly, so I was happy with that!

Here's Tessa with her Jada doll and Snow White. I had some fabric left, so I thought I'd try to make a teeny little nightgown, too.

Pssst...Steph...Yes, I did sew Snow White's dogs upsidedown, just so she could see them better!

Really, really adorable! That fabric looks so comfy, cozy. It looks hard to make doll clothes. Too little for me! I thought the dogs were SUPPOSED to be upside down on Snow White's pajamas so she could see them better!

I just finished sewing two pieces of fabric together. After TRIPLE checking, I STILL sewed them right side - to - wrong side together. How does that happen?!?! Now where's that seam ripper?

Must Sleep Now....to make a long story short, I just decided to make DS5 (Luke) a Luke Skywalker costume, not for Halloween, but because he looks so much like a mini Luke Skywalker! (And because I finally found a pattern for the top on sale for .99 at JoAnn's!) But now of course I need to make it before we leave for Disneyland Saturday morning! Must Sleep Now...

We wanted to name are youngest Luke also, but we couldn't get past the "Luke I am your Father" thing running in our minds.

Please share which pattern you're using for Luke? I'm going to JoAnn's later today to get some of the .99 patterns & some fabric! We have a "let's pretend" box of costumes to use year round & DS(3) would love a jedi costume & light saber!!!! This is what I made him for Christmas Eve pj swap last year......

I am never going to finish the Halloween outfits. Some of these must be done by Sunday for the church carnival (must dress as your favorite bible character.) I didn't find out about this carnival till after the girls came up with their ideas for Halloween so now the need 2 outfits each to cover this.

All week I have been having to drive ds to drivers ed classes. I think this is funny, because I am doing a lot of extra driving to get him to drivers ed classes.

Monday afternoon the dresser in dds' room (so big it takes up most of one wall) fell over on the girls. I have no idea how they didn't get hurt. There was smashed items all over the floor, but the girls were fine.

Today I am going nuts elbow deep in baking. This weekend is the Boy Scout camporee and dh volunteered me to bake cookies for the troop to take along camping. I still need to watch the time for picking ds up after his class and getting some school time in for the girls (good thing cooking uses math to double a recipe and reading to read a recipe.)

I hope to get some sewing time soon. Well I am off to get another batch of cookies out of the oven and some headache meds.

No, you won't get an infraction for asking a question. (Oy, so that's how you all see me -- as the giver of infractions!) The rules can be confusing.

The best way I can explain it is this -- there are lots of folks here who sell stuff on ebay. If there are posts saying "look for this" or "search for that" or even "congrats on the beautiful xyz you are selling" it can be unfair to the other posters who's stuff isn't mentioned, by them or anyone else. Also, if everyone was posting about the stuff being sold it would take up a lot of space (and bandwidth) so the conversations about Disney, trip planning and the creative stuff you all make for your families would get lost.

Does that make sense?

No, I get the same amount of space as everybody else. I think the banner in your signature takes up room. I did have to play with my signature after the new rule took place to get the pics to fit -- my pics used to be on two rows but it cut off almost the entire bottom row when I had it the old way.
