Everyone got to choose their own style (well, I picked DH and DS patterns)

Now, to do it all over again with the Red Mickey fabric...

Sorry about the "just out of the tub hair" (that seems to happens a lot around here :rotfl:), but here is the pillowcase dress I made for DD. It's very basic, but I thought it turned out OK.

That is one of the cutest pillowcase dresses I've ever seen! I love the bow on the Mickey/Minnie head.

Look what I made today not clothes, but a must if you are going to the parks. You guys all know your wipe container must matching your boutique clothing! :rotfl2: (Or every ride if you are Utahmama) I am going to add a bling Mickey head. I will post photos when I get that done!

You did a great job! Most of the one's I see (copies I mean) aren't smooth around the edges. I'm still trying to find a wipe case that will work that is durable. Or I'm going to have to figure out how to cover the middle part of the pop up cases without it looking ragged.

who made this outfit? is this one of yours castlecreations? that is soooo cute! :goodvibes

I'm pretty sure that was lil ragamuffins.

Oh wow very creative...the shirts came out great! And the dresses are perfect for the Fair! Yaaaaaa:cheer2: Terrific job MOM!!!! :thumbsup2

thank you twob4him...you can't see the imperfections in the dresses, but i know where they are...:rotfl2: oh well the girls love them...and that is all that matters...:yay:

Here are the girls in their completed 'Ohana dinner outfits. They're going to feel like royalty having to 'change for dinner'. While mom and dad will just be wearing the same stinky clothes from earlier.

They look so classy!

I'm about 15 pages back and see that many people are digging the sock monkey fabric. Before I stated sewing (thanks to all of you!) I had this outfit made for my DD because I loooove sock monkeys!

I've never been a sock monkey fan, but that is adorable and I'm loving the new fabrics!

We just went to the fair in West Virginia, I wish I'd thought to make something like that  ! Very cute!

I like how they are all the same, but not! Your dress turned out really nice!

oh my! What beautiful work everyone has done. I had my DD3 birthday party last Wednesday, then off to Missouri for my sisters wedding, and came back to 30 + pages.... I just had to share the B-day pics. I made the cake, her outfit, and had the beads made for her necklace. I strung them. Guess you can figure out the theme!

Karrie, where did you find that Little Einstein design? I need one for dd2's MGM shirt.

All the LE images came from a stickerbook I got at Toys r us, with over 700 stickers. I just scanned them. We have gotten our money out of that book!

Today at WM I checked to see what dresses they had left and here's the list:

Red - only one in size 24m
Blue - three size 3T, four size 4T, one size 5T

Let me know if you want one and I can ship them to you.

She looks adorable and like she is having a blast!

Yes, she had a blast!! It was so much fun! She was so into it this year! When she asked for a Rocket cake, I tried to talk her out of it, because I didn't think I could make one. Nope, the cake had to look like Rocket! I figured it out! It was actually one of the easiest cakes I've made. Quickest too!;)

ME TOO! I love them! They are fantastic! I hope you daughter had a wonderful birthday. We love CC too! They play the commercial after almost every tv show DD watches!

I never thought I would say those words! Here is my second pair of decoupage jeans. I also added the bling to the shirt. Now if she doesn't pass out from the 100 degree weather in jeans it will be a succesful day!

What a cutie! I think that every time I see your signature picture. You really did a great job on her outfit! Do you have to take out the seam on the jeans to sew the patches?

Where did you get those beads????? I like!!! PM me if you can't say here. Pretty please![/QUOTE]

I would be happy to share the wonderful, very talented creator of these beads, but before I do, I want to make sure it is okay with her. She sells beads on e-bay, (which I have purchased many sets) and I contacted her to custom make these. So I'm not sure, she would do these all the time. I'll email her, and let you know!

Help guys! What do you think? This is for a BOY! I usually do patches on the leg, but not so many. I have had this thought in my head for a while now though and really want to do it. Is it too girly?

101_1988.jpg

101_1989.jpg

I usually do one front leg with some patches, not nearly this many though. I am unsure if I would wrap it around to the back or not. I really want Michael Miller ironwork in black and white but cannot find it for the life of me. I would like to leave the polka dots out, but improvising for now. Of course I really want to sew it together too! Should I take out the wierd white dots and add the blackish gray piece sitting next to it.

Zero will be white, pumpkins orange and oogie boogie on the back green, so that is why there is a slice of green. Oh and imagine the top square black with a jack face, not polka dot with a blob of white. I also might need to readjust the patches.

has anyone ever used felt? Washed felt? This is not felt, it is stablizer of some sort, but now I see it isn't too even. I like the dimension it adds. I will do a jack face on it of course.

Jessica - Did anyone ever answer you?
I think Jack is going to look great!
I didn't want to say this, but I guess I will since I don't think anyone responded.
I hate saying anything that's negative!!!!!
I think there are too many patches for a boy.
:scared:
Don't hate me!

Does anyone have a good pic of JoJo's Circus tent? I want to make the outline in Rhinestones on a shirt.

I finally finished my second applique project! We are going to Dutch Wonderland in PA and their theme characters are a green dino and a princess and a castle. I didnt get to the dino but the rest of the gang is here on the dress. The dress itself is a clearance item and a bit long. I tied up the bottom with ribbons and made ribbon hairbows to match!
