I'm sorry your daughter is outgrowing her love of custom outfits,but there may still be hope! My older daughter is helping me pick patterns and material. So just wait a little while.

I think we're finding a compromise. I'll be able to make her clothes but they won't be as embellished as I might like. I think it helps, though, that her friends seem jealous of her closet contents. I hear them sometimes looking through her clothes and expressing their wish that I'd sew for them. Once they find out I'd expect to be paid, they don't hint quite so much.
