Hey. I really like this. I may copy for my DD7, but I have one question: Is the jumper lined in white? or is that a white edging you applied to the polka-dot skirt? Just wondered. Either way would be cute.
C

It's lined in white but you have to sew it backwards, otherwise you will have visibile seams. So sew the right side of the white to the wrong side of the red.

I was looking at the Payless Website. They had adult and children's sneakers, similar the the slip on Keds, that you can draw on. I thought someone might want to try thier hand at the handpainted sneakers!! I'm terrible when it comes to painting. But I'm thinking on it!

My DD has been sick for the last two days :( but, that meant she slept a lot, so I got a chance to finish my patchwork twirl skirt.

She's still not feeling up-to-snuff, so the pictures aren't fantastic (she refused to twirl, although after a while I noticed she was swishing her hips as she walked to make the skirt flounce. It was pretty funny.)

This skirt was definitely a learning experience...but I'm happy with the way it turned out (I love Classic Pooh, and we're going to breakfast at CP). I have a feeling the next one will go more smoothly!

Your skirt has come out really cute. Not a Pooh fan myself, but I do like the classic fabrics. I'm going to have to try my hand at one of these. I know Kirsta will love it.

Wow. That's really clever! Don't you just love coming up with clever outifits! I would like to post some of the ones I have beeen making lately for a community kids' stuff sale, but they are not Disney. Just cute clothes.

Hi all. I love all the work you girls are doing. We are from Australia and are travelling to WDW October 6th to 18th. I have a DD 5. My question is what will the weather be like then. I really like the outfits that have been made with the 3/4 capris denim pants and the matching patch work top with dots and flowers on it (sorry not sure how to post photos of them) it is under girl Minnie n Mickey n dots outfits and is photo number 100 0564. But don't know if they will be ok at that time of the year. Any information on what you think would be great, then I will try and find the fabric down under and beg my mum to start making for us. Thanks in advance for any help

It's hot at this time of year. Shorts and Tshirts.

It looks like I may have to start over with the shirts for the Wiggles Live outfits. :sad1: My mom took the shirt that I had finished appliqueing and she was going to put the zipper in for me. There's been alot of drama between us lately and I posted about it on the CB. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1503159

In a nutshell, my mom has allowed my younger sister to disrespect our home, and when we said something to her about it, my mom then continued to disrespect me by lying, and even worse she disrespected my DD14 with her lies.

I'm not about to ask her for the shirt back. I'd rather just start over with a new one. :guilty:

I know your having family trouble, but you put alot of work into that outfit. don't let her get to you, ask for it back. It's yours!! Then write her off until she wakes up and smells the roses.

Okay ladies, which one do you think? I have spent tons of time searching, and this is all I have found. Neither is an exact match:confused3

Remember it's to match this fabric

There is an outfit on e-bay right now using the second and third fabrics. The hello fabric has a white background though. It's an "altered" outfit- not 100% handmade. Search boutique small world. Someone mentioned this auction earlier, the seller must have re-listed it. Maybe it will give you some inspiration. By the way- do you know the name of the second faces fabric? And where is it from?

Adorable!
I love Classic Pooh. My DS's room was (ok - still is) Classic Pooh. He's not voicing an opinion yet, so I'll keep that way a little longer. ;)

Sorry your little one wasn't feeling too great, but that's cute about her swishing her hips when she walked to get the skirt moving!

you know hawaiian themed w/ mickey is hard to find. Here is an outfit I pulled out of the suitcase to take a picture for you. I made this for the lilo and stitch breakfast at the Poly. We have the breakfast next friday! My oldest (6) has a tutu skirt set, but she is almost just too h\old for that stly. but you could do a fun shorts set with this fabric. it is easy to find right now.

At our Walmart there is also an Elvis print fabric that says "Blue Hawaii" on it. DD8 loves Elvis and she pointed it out and said "that would be cute to wear to eat with Lilo & Stitch" I held my breath for just a second, cause I thought she was onto me. I have surprise ADRs for our last morning there.

Anyway back on topic... I was thinking of getting some of the Elvis print and making a skirt something like this one. I've had shirts designed on the Creative DISign board that would match this print.

Thanks for the Bows info girls.
Its so hard to keep up with this tread.
I have ordered my younger son some custom handpainted t-shirts so he can match his lttle sister. She will have an outfit for everday. My older two boys 9 and 13 won't cooperate with matching anything

My daughter got a job modeling for the seller of this set. Anyone got any picture tips. I agreed to post an auction for her. She never did ebay but my pics are not great

I saw this set on ebay already. i think it started at $200 or something high like that

Okay, who bought before I could see it? :scratchin

Nice work everybody who posted pics today.

Castlecreations
, all of your work is great and you crank them out so fast. :worship: You are my inspiration.

designmom
, I'm really digging the pooh skirt, which instructions did you use?

matdrew, Congrats on the modeling job! She is a cutie!

If anyone has a moment go look up "Custom Boutique Classic Pooh" in the clothing section. it is really adorable and a twist on the pooh design. my 3 year old loves my friends tigger and pooh on saturdays.

Now that I've seen your skirt, I think I definitely have to make one. Maybe a patchwork? We'll see!!

Here's DD's Pooh dress. She'll wear it to breakfast at Crystal Palace.

Pardon her sour face. She was so not into picture-taking this morning!
Oh that is SO cute!!! I love the classic look of it! Your daughter is such a cutie!
OK, I finished the shirts up this morning so these sets are now complete!

Great job! That turned out great!

Hi all,
My internet is out due to stormy weather last night. I'm checking in from Crispers. I will post the website here and I think we can share that because it is not an Ebay id.

The webiste for the Snow White dress is http://www.boutiqueolliegirl.com/

I'm sorry for the delay. I know I have many PMs but I can't stay here long enough to check them all.

I'll be in touch soon!

Thanks for the site! My girls and I have fallen in love with the Minnie dress with the animal print accents! "Wild About Miss Mouse Princess Dress"
My husband drilled mine with a Dremel tool. They can be found at places like Home Depot or Sears, sometimes at hobby stores.

Hmmmm.....:scratchin Corey has been begging for a Dremel for awhile now. I may just have to give in and get it for him!

That is really cute!

I just ordered some Mickey hawaiian theme (well surfboards) from Hancock's. I haven't take a picture of it yet but just got it yesterday. It is adorable. There was a picture of an outfit someone made a little while back, probably in boys pictures if you check the photobucket link.

I believe it is in the Fabric section of the site.

Here is a top that I made for my niece who wants to match my girls when they wear their Minnie twirly skirts. It's nothing revolutionary, just a style that I thought was suitable for a tween or young teen. It's tunic length.

47b7d922b3127cce8761f9ad232000000025118MYtm7ds0k

My niece is only 9, but she thinks she's 16, LOL. I did the ruffle on the bottom to keep it from looking too grown up. She has a similar top in a floral pattern from Mini Boden and she looks really cute in it with her bermuda shorts. It's hard to find clothes for girls that age!

The outfit is adorable! It IS hard to find outfits for girls that age! They aren't little girls anymore, but they aren't teenagers. There little bodies are changing so fast, it's hard to find things that even fit!

Okay ladies, which one do you think? I have spent tons of time searching, and this is all I have found. Neither is an exact match:confused3

Ok, I am going to have to be the lone person that really LOVES the way the second one looks with that fabric!

OOH, I like the Elvis fabric idea. Arminda loves Elvis!

I showed my sister this thread, and she went out and bought some fabric and a Minnie Mouse t-shirt to make a dress for my neice. She showed me pictures and it is adorable! She is even making one for Lydia to match!!! She said she would post some pictures when they are done!!! She's Hkite, so be on the lookout for her! :woohoo:

I just got back from Hobby Lobby, looking for even more fabrics to add to my collection of projects to finish! :lmao:
Anyway...I remember someone was looking for a Cruella DeVille/101 Dalmations type outfit. Hobby Lobby had the cutest Dalmation print fabric on clearance!! Just FYI for anyone looking!

By the way, all the new stuff looks great!! DH was kind enough to start cleaning out part of the office (aka Catch All Room ;) ) so I can set up a sewing area on a more permanent basis. Maybe then I can get going on some of this!!
