Thanks, I use a middle of the road Kenmore from Sears.

I promised DH in the past that I would not post pics of Destiny on the internet but he has agreed to let me post here. So here she is!

What a DOLL!!!:cutie:

I made this for my son yesterday

.

I *must* find that fabric! LOL! And your DS is so cute. BTW, I got some of that Buzz Lightyear fabric on clearance at Hobby Lobby, too. It's going to be my "practice fabric" for making DS the camp shirt he's been asking for.

Someone was saying earlier that they were looking for tigger striped fabric... Well I know it's not striped, but I bet it would work perfect with stripes, and it is too cute!

Love that...but then, I'm a huge Pooh fan.

She wanted me to tell you that she designed the outfit, picked out the colors and the ribbon and chose what pattern she wanted me to use. She didn't want a girly outfit for sea world, so this is it..It's a little plain for my taste, but this is what she wanted.

I think your DD has excellent design sense. I love her outfit...even if she was being a stinker today. ;)

I loved the outfit anyway, but it looks even cuter on. Destiny is adorable!

LadyRob,
Do you have a pattern for that halter? Was it easy to do?

I did buy instructions from ebay. It was unbelievable easy once I figured out what size to make.

LOL! :rotfl2: I do have Snow White ya know! I just got a whole bunch of new beads. I won a lot on Ebay and it was all character!!! I'm in jewelry makin' heaven!

Can't wait to see! I now consider you my personal jeweler. :snooty: :rotfl:

Will you show us the back of the halter, please?!

Okay, I'm sorry I had to crop her head but we are in the middle of taking her braids out and she looks like this guy when his hair is raised :scared1: LOL!

BEAUTIFUL!! Thanks to your DH for letting you share! One quick question about your machine. How many stitches does it do? I am looking to get a new one, but I have to have my 21 stitches, more would be better! :goodvibes

Mine only has 9 stitches that I know of. However, it's a few years old. Maybe the newer models have more stitches. :confused3

Ok- Have fabric, will sew!!! Found some brightly colored cuties fabric on clearance-gonna make a dress for DD2. Also got some yellow fabric to do an snow white appliqued Nappy Bag for myself. Got that blue and red mickey icon fabric to go on the inside- I am SO psyched (or sew psyched:cutie: )

I just can't decide which to work on first. I think the easiest so I can post the pictures faster!!!:rotfl:

Is there a support group or a 12 step program I should know about?
...t.

Please, please, please make the bag first. :flower3: I would love to see it.

What is the link for the site with all of our photos? I should of book marked it ahhhhhhhhhhhh

Unfortunately, I'm not as talented as all of the ladies on here, so I have turned to Ebay to fuel my addiction of custom clothes. We'll be celebrating my dd's 5th birthday while we're at Disney in September and we'll be have lunch at Crystal Palace, so I bought this for her. Now to find something for my youngest dd to wear.

(sorry for the mustache :) she had chocolate milk to drink right before the picture was taken)

And here are the hair bows:

The other board is fine, but it is much easier to keep up with the posts here! You can put your pictures in your post too (you can't on the yahoo group) so it's alot easier to see what is being talked about/refered to. Even though a few have spoiled things, I still like that this board is open to anyone. Hopefully all the ladies on the other board feel free to post here as well. I love seeing all the great outfits - it's not going to be as easy having to check multiple boards. Anyway I'm off to work on some pirate mickey overalls. I'll post pics. here when I'm done. hope to see EVERYONE here later

Where do I find the other groups?? Thats to bad people have to ruin a good thing..I cant keep up with this one.

Now I just need the jewels! :rolleyes1

I am wondering if what you think is missing from the skirt is a ruffle at the end of the blue skirt. Maybe use that pre-made ruffle someone mentioned from Hobby Lobby. It would be easier to attach since it is already gathered. Just an idea.

Personally I love the whole outfit! You made a 3-piece! You are so ebay.:yay:

Hi, I have the snow white from set 2 also...we must buy from the same person...:rotfl:

I love those ones. I think they're Amy Taylors but I just got a huge lot from a lady that was cleaning out her stash and ended up with some really cute things. I'll be stringing them up eventually & these ladies keep me busy! I shouldn't have started a bead obsession on top of my fabric issues!

LadyRob, your daughter is so cute! She reminds me of a little princess :)

Perfect for a birthday at CP! I like how they used the denim at the top. I may have to copy. I have plenty of jeans in my closet that I hope to wear again but transforming them into something Destiny can wear may be just as rewarding.

Hi ladies :flower3:, Here is my Snow White set. I had alot of fun making this one and it looks great on Destiny. I love the halter style top on her. I added the skirt but I'm not to crazy about it. Let me know what you think.

LadyRob,
I have been lurking here for months and this Snow White outfit is so incredible, I can't stand it!!! I have no sewing skills, but my mom does and she is going to try to make some outfits for DD5...

If you don't mind a dumb question... how do you make that applique? Is it all stitched? Is it cut out of other fabric and sewn on? Is is painted? I can't tell...

You are amazing!!!

Amy

PS If anyone has a link to a way to buy some of these clothes.... PLEASE PM me!!!!!!

You all are some talented women! You inspire me want to try to thread my sewing machine all by myself!!! (Baby steps!)

Would you believe *I* would be the person to have a sewing machine that has 50 stitches on it?!?:lmao:

I got it on clearance at Target a little over 2 years ago. The ladies teaching me to quilt were so impressed and I had no idea why.:rolleyes1
