Kid's dessert at POP on dining plan question...

In 2008 we were on the Free Dining Plan and will be again this year. I feel bad because my daughter will now be 11 which is considered an adult and my son will be 9 1/2 still considered a child. I know in 2008 when we ate at the food court we were able to get sundaes as our dessert with our meals and I can't remember if the kids got that as well or do they get the standard chocolate chip cookie in a little bag or something like that? Anybody know?

Just read somewhere that I can just change his age to 10 and this will only cost us an extra $19 so I think we'll just do that to give him better menu choices.

If you do that you will have to buy him and adult park ticket as well. Did you factor that cost in?

kids and adults can both get an icecream sundae at Pop as their dessert. Just get the cashier to stamp your card. I think you have up to 2 hours to claim your dessert.

Yes, that was the price for the park ticket to upgrade to an adult. We are just doing the quick service so there's no upgrade there. $19 is so worth it since he's just shy of age 10 anyway and that way he won't have to eat chicken nuggets over and over again.

I called this morning to change him so we are good to go now. Thanks for the replies!

Glad it worked out for you. When my daughter turned 10 on our trip I had her as an adult and it was great! She could order whatever she wanted, inc. kid's meals if she wanted (they also offer larger junior meals at some TS locations.)

I have a QSDP report from our trip last Oct. We stayed at POP. We got the sundaes several times. You can (unless it's changed) use 1 CS credit to get any 3 snack items. Considered a Continental Combo- we did this for 3 sundaes (we had a lot of CS to use up).
