kids decerating cookies

I have been told about kids can decerate their own cookies at the land. can anyone tell me about that? Do I need reservations? what times do they do this? thanks for your help

We did this in December. You don't need reservations. I don't know the exact times. It's off to one of the corners. We just waited around about 15 minutes before the time listed. A couple of cast members came and let in about 15 children. Each child got a chef's hat and they each did a task involved in making chocolate chip cookies (add the chips or stir with the whisk, etc.) then through the "magic" of Disney and the special oven... the cookies were all done and each child got a cookie.
Very cute. My daughter enjoyed it.

Keep in mind the kids do not get to decorate the cookies, just make them.

We haven't done it in about a year, but unless things have changed it is done at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, 3:30, and 4:30. The kids also got 2 cookies and a container of chocolate chips, plus they keep their hat with their name on it.

It's a nice break from the running around in the parks.

They do not take reservations, so plan on getting there a few minutes early as they can only accomodate a limited number of children. My younger dd was 4 yo when she did it last year. She loved it. The chocolate chip cookies were delicious, too. Each child got a couple of cookies to take with them.

it's on the lower floor of the land pavilion. the signs direct you to it, but it's tucked away. you need to find the seating to the right of living with the land and keep looking right into the corner.

basically if you note the seating on the right side of the picture, it would be further down in the photo against the stairs or escalators or whatever it is i think

At five scheduled times during the day, groups of approximately 15-20 children who have volunteered to participate make NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE cookies from scratch. The youngsters, between the ages of 3 and 12, enter the baking area through a façade of a NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE. There they are fitted with personalized chef hats. Gathered around tables, they take turns adding and mixing ingredients from canisters and Nestlé TOLL HOUSE morsels bags to make the original NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE cookie recipe. After they place the dough on cookie sheets, the cookies are whisked to Disney's "magic ovens." About four minutes later, each child receives a yellow NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE bag with three warm cookies.

So just to re-state it, they do NOT decorate the cookies, they just make and bake them, and you get to take 2 cookies (not 3 like the above says) and you get to keep the chef's hat.
