Kids Clubs

I think this question was thrown out before so sorry but in the kids clubs what is the ratio for counseler and does your child have the same counseler throughout the entire trip. Just trying to get a handle on how many phone cards to stock up on. Would you believe that the entir family has never been on the cruise and the DKids already don't want to eat with us.

Wow it usually takes me a few scolding to get that done(LOL).

In the club and the lab, your child does not have A counsellor. There are about 12 counsellors assigned to each age group, with 3-4 on duty at a time. We usually sail off season, and see 2-3 counsellors with about 15 kids at the activities. However, that having been said, there is no way that you need to "tip" 12 counsellors. Ask your kids if there were one or 2 that were special to them (my daughter always seems to have one that she really likes). It may be that they were on duty for the activities that your kids did...it may be that they just hit it off with your kid...it may be that they speak the same language that your kid is studying in school and speak it with your child. In any event, there is nothing wrong with providing a small gift for one or 2, but not the entire 12 in the age group...especially if you have multiple kids in multiple age groups!

Oh good. Sounds good to me. Only problem is DD has a tendency to really like someone. She will want to bring the counselor home with us.(LOL)

Moneypit85, I know what you mean. This will be our first cruise and our DD who is 7 is telling us the same thing. She can't wait to get to the club and wants to eat her meals there.
