I will be traveling on the Fantasy in March with 3 boys - ages 5, 10, 12. I thought I would put them all in Oceaneer Club together, but it looks like the Edge would be a better fit for the 2 older boys. Is there any flexibility in getting my 10 year old in the Edge with his brother? I thought I read that whichever club you sign up for, you are committed to that club for the entire cruise. Is that truly the case, or can my 12 year old go back and forth between the 2 clubs? Thanks for any advice.

Hi I am a youth activities Counselor. Yes the 12 year old can go back and forth between Oceaneers and Edge. There is no guarantee that the 10 year old will be able to go to edge. You would have to check with the Counselors on your cruise. Just so you are aware, in Edge all of the kids can come and go as they please. So if you want your 10 year old in secured programming, Oceaneers is the place.

How strict are the ages for the oceaneers club? I will be sailing on the Maigic in March with my DS13 and my DN9. My son enjoys the oceaneers club and will want to hang out with my niece. He turns 13 3 weeks before our cruise. Will he be able to go into the Oceaneers club with her or only during open house times? Thanks!

The Oceaneers Club/Lab is very strict. No child under 3 and no child over 12. Your 13 year old will only be able to go to the Club during open house times.

My DD loves the Oceaneers Club and will be turning 13 in September. We're doing a cruise on the Dream in August so she is still young enough to go to Oceaneers.

We did the exact same thing. Then she moved up to the Edge and hated it. She is 2 weeks shy of 14 when we cruise next month and I am going to see if I can get her in the Vibe.
