How hard is it to sign up for kids club times on the ship? I just read a reply somewhere on a post that said it never worked for them. Hopefully someone who sailed recently can answer. We leave in a few weeks. It is so hard to know when they will want to be in the kids club but I guess I would rather book something now to have.

We were on an early September so things may be different now.. we booked one time saw the day before the cruise just to have something and then right after lunch the first day we went to the kids club and were able to move things around pretty easily and add additional times.

After that, we found that the easiest way to make changes or add additional time was to call. The app let us make changes but it was very inconsistent. One time it deleted a session that we did not intend to delete I had to call and have them reinstated.

At what age can kids in the Oceaneer's Club/Lab sign themselves out? Can they also sign themselves in if they are booked for that time? On our last cruise my grandson age 10 could have signed himself out. My younger DGS will be 9 y/o at the time of our cruise. With pre-booked sessions, we're wondering if we need to be there to check him out at the end of his session & can he check himself in for his next session?

I was able to allow my 8 year old to sign herself out as she was going with her 11 year old sister and knew that they would sign out together (don't think I would have allowed it if it was just her). And because they had sign out permission, when their time slot was up in the kids club, the staff let them know and sent them on their way.

Any child regardless of age can check in on their own. Yes, a 9 year old can check themselves out.
