Kids Club Sea Day Open House

On past schedules it looks like sometimes kids club open houses are scheduled on sea days. Are kids allowed to be left at the kids club during this time? If not, how do we pick a Palo or beverage seminar reservation in advance if we would not find out what times conflict until we are onboard? Thank you.

The only time we didn't leave our daughter in the kids club was the castaway cay day because the staff is on the island so while the club is technically open, it's not secured. Other than that, she lived there. I'm pretty sure she lived there the entire sea day.

If kids are self check they can be in open house alone, just so long as the parents are aware/comfortable for them to be there with very minimal supervision from Counselors and with other adults in there too.
Otherwise if the club side is open house then the lab will be secured and all of the kids who are checked in at that time will be moved there

Open House times are scheduled every day (not just sea days). However when the Oceaneer Club is in "open house" mode, the Oceaneer Lab is doing secured programming. And vice versa. So there is always a location available for you to check your child in for secured programming.

As PP mentions, to attend open house without you the child needs to have self-check privileges. And be aware there is less supervision at this time because it is expected that kids attend with a responsible adult or teen.
