I should know this, 7 cruises in!, but do you need to register a 12 year old for the Lab who will have signing privileges and will also be attending the Edge? I'm thinking yes, but can't remember!!
She is also preregistered online... Trying to avoid unnecessary steps the day of boarding!

Any child who wants to attend the Oceaneers Club/Lab, must be registered. It sounds as if you have already completed the online preregistration. You will need to still go to the desk in the port terminal or to the Club/Lab onboard to pick up the magic band for the club.

Yes. We did this. Just be sure they've checked the box for your 12 year old to sign him/herself out. They missed that when I signed my son up. He was so embarrassed watching 8 year olds come and go, while he waited for "his mommy" to come and get him from the Lab. He actually never went back after that. He did enjoy the Edge, though (although there was a bit of teasing from the older kids because he had a Lab magic band on, so they were calling him a baby).
