My DD is going to turn 3 the second day of our cruise. Am I going to have problems enrolling her into the clubs? On our docs she's under 3, but will turn 3 on the cruise.

I won't be turned away when I try to register her will I?

I doubt you will have any trouble. Is she potty-trained? That may make all the difference. If they question you, just explain that she will be 3 in two days. I think you can move up to the next level of clubs if your child is within one month of her birthday - and your DD certainly would fit that rule.

Have a great time.

she is potty trained. I just got to thinking that maybe they had a master list of all the club age kids..and she wouldn't be on it.

I think it will be fine, you shouldn't have any trouble as long as she is potty trained.

MY DD is a CM in the Club. The info you've received is correct. You won't have a problem as long as she's potty trained and comfortable functioning in a 1-15 kid to counselor ratio.

Their job is to be sure everyone has a Magical or Wonderful experience not police ages. If she has a potty accident, they'll page you but she'll probably be fine. I do know they sometimes take younger potty trained children so you're fine.

Have fun and don't stress over it. The counselors are fantastic, but since my DD is one of them I might be "slightly" prejudiced.

Our daughter was 2 1/2 and potty trained at the time of our cruise and she went to the 3-4 program without any problems. She needs to be self sufficient in the restroom and that includes being able to get on the potty by herself, wiping, and washing her hands. My daughter had a hard time getting up on the potty even though it was toddler height but the said they would help her. I always brought her into the restroom and had her "go" before I left and helped her wash her hands. Good luck and have fun.

Minniemouse1, thank you so much for that information. I am in the exact same situation. I have a 2 1/2 year old that is potty trained and needs no help. She is in daycare so she should do fine with the ratio. She may have trouble getting up on the potty like you said but I too plan on taking care of the bathroom situation before she goes in the club. She will also have her 7 year old sister in the club. I have been worrying about whether or not they would let her in. That will help make my 15th wedding anniversary much better. I don't plan on leaving them in the club long. I just want a little time with my husband with out having to watch the girls.

Thanks!
