kids club open 1st night?

Its getting closer and the questions just keep coming... when on the carnval and RCCl the kids programming is not open the 1st night it is only a family party and check in on disney i am starting to get the impression that after diner it is open?? is this true or is it strctly check in and family stuff?? Thanks again you ar egreat

I am pretty sure that the kids clubs are open the first night on the ship.
I know for sure that the teen room is open.

I am certain that the lab (8-12) is open after the first dinner. I think the club (3-7) is as well. To check for sure, go to www.castawayclub.com and check the kids navigators. They'll tell you when the check in time is and when they're open as well as typical first night activities.

the clubs are open once the ship leaves the dock. they are open to look at from noon to 3:30 then closed til 5:30-6:00. then open til 1 am. i hope this helps

Thanks it helps alot.. I want them to go whenever the first time is so they can get off to a good start meet friends etc.. Had I not read a post earlier today that hinted at this i would have assumed it was like carnival and Rccl and i would not have taken them the first night as it is only a hello here are the rules and tomorrows schedule type of thing on the other lines

Register your children for the clubs as soon as you board. Lots of folks wait until right before or after dinner and the line can get very long.

First night on the Magic was a Lilo and Stitch party!

We were on the Wonder in October, 2003.

The kid's clubs didn't open until 6:30 the first evening, and they don't take the kids to eat the first night either.

Just beware that when the club and the lab are open the first evening, it is very low key. My nephew-7 and niece-12 were excited to go but there wasn't much going on. My nephew said there was just a movie going on. Unfortunately, neither one gave it a second chance.

You might want to check out what is going on and give the kids a heads up so that they won't be disappointed.

My ds-12 had been the year before and and knew what to expect. He loved it.
