Kids Club And One Week From Turning 3?

Hi,
My best friend is thinking about booking the 7 day cruise that I have booked for 10-15-05 and we have a question?

Her DD will be one week shy of turning 3 years old. Matter a fact she will turn three on the Sunday we get back. So by numbers she won't have to pay for her as the third person. I think she will cost $99 and taxes. We were wondering if she was potty trained that they may let her in the 3-4 year old clubs???

Has anyone faced this problem???

I don't think so. I have always assumed ( and I could be wrong) that the reason the minimum age for the Kids club is 3 because at 3, you pay a fare for the kids, so if the child is 2 for the fare portion of the trip, then he will be considered 2 for the whole trip, and probably would not be allowed in. Sorry.

I was thinking about that?? I guess it would be cheaper to use Flounders nursery than to add her as the third person although the baby can eat!! If she was potty trained she may want to consider putting her down so she could use the clubs???

Something to think about although we do have a year and a half to plan for this??

Guess I could have done this first.. FYI for those who may want to know this...

The CM just told me that we would only have to pay $139 plus tax for my friends DD who would technically be 2 when we cruise and if she was potty trained she could use the clubs for the 3-4 year olds.

He said she only has to be within one month of turning 3 and potty trained and we would only have to pay the 2 year old fare.

WOW! Did not expect that!! I am excited!

We took our twins on DCL for their 3rd birthdays. They turned 3 while on the cruise. I only had to pay infant rates for them, but they got to participate in the kids clubs.
