I've already packed the kids clothes but now I'm second guessing myself. Is it still warm in Florida towards the end of October? We'll be there from the 20-29th.

I packed mostly shorts and t-shirts for them.

What are you all packing for the kids?

Average temperatures the last week of October are in the low 80s during the day and the low 60s in the morning.

However, there was a cold snap last year and there were two days in late October where the temperature was in the upper 40s in the morning and only got into the 60s during the day.

I would pack a couple of pairs of long pants and a long sleeve shirt or two to be safe, unless you'd rather buy them there if you need them.

Enjoy your trip!

Hi! We'll be there October 15-21. I'm packing shorts and t shirts for each day, but will also bring along jackets and pants. Last year, October was really hot and humid...unseasonably so. I've read that, in general, the highs are in the mid 80's each day. It will probably be chilly first thing in the morning and in the evenings.

I threw in a pair of jeans for each of the girls and a jacket. Hopefully that'll work okay.

If not... I'll have to just go shopping. Oh darn. :rotfl:

Check an extended weather forcast for the orlando area. We were there 2 years ago and it was 94/95 daily. :sunny:

I do agree with everyone else. It is wam, when we went this time last year it was Hot. Don't forget your ponchos for the brief afternoon showers.

Last Oct when we were there it was in the 90's and very humid. We'll pack windbreakers as usual, but just shorts and tees for us. :goodvibes

We went the first week on Nov. last year. I packed all shorts and t-shirts, 1 pair of jeans for each person, a windbreaker/raincoat. I wish I had packed 1 long sleave shirt or sweat-shirt for cooler nights.

This is great info. We will be there Oct 20-25th. Two years ago it was warm at this time when we were there. Just wore shorts. But maybe I will put a pair of pants just incase!

We go the third weekend in October every year and the weather is still sunny and warm, low chance of rain...in the mid 80's and low 70's at night. Last year there was a cold spell after Hurricane Wilma breezed by but that lasted 2 days. I would pack one pair of pants and one long sleeve shirt and you should be fine.

We've only gone once in Oct. but I think where you are staying may have something to do with how cool it is. We were there in early Oct. and stayed at WL. While it was warm in the parks, we found the breeze coming off the lake at the resort to be pretty cool, especially in the evenings. Has anyone else noticed this at the resorts situated on a lake?
