I'm looking for ideas for party game prizes for a Princess themed Birthday Party...My budget isnt huge so nothing to expensive, i already have braclets, rings and necklaces to go in the pinata but nothing for the prizes for the games.

Any one know how many games i should play at the party and what ones, I was thinking a 2 hour party. My friend who is face painter is hopefully coming to do that for me if she hasnt got any paid bookings.

I have no idea what to do :lmao: The last party DD had was when she was 2 and that was a friends and family gathering.

How many children should i invite roughly? I want a small party as im hoping less mess :rotfl2:

Anyone got any ideas?

Emma I had a Princess party for DD a few years ago - it was great fun but hard work as they wanted to run and jump about every where as they were used to parties at ball ponds etc

We made the invitations ourself and invited the chillden to dress as princesses and that the fairy god mother would give them a makeover

We made crowns - bought gold card and had it cut into crown shapes already before they arrived. We bought lots of pre sticky shapes/jewels etc to decorate it with (didnt use glue or scissors) .While they were doing this the Fairy Godmother (me) gave them a make over (painted nails/nail stickers/ lip gloss/ eye shadow and blusher (I checked with parents first)

We also played traditional party games but with a princess theme

Musical Castles - Pictures of castles printed out and when the music stopped they ahd to find one to stand on

Pass the Parcel - cant remember how we changed that to be princessy but when they were out they got a jewel sweet (haribo rings)

Pin the Crown on the Princess - we had a big picture of Belle we drew and made small crowns to blutac on

I did think of a treasure hunt but didnt want them all over the house

I also had beads etc to make necklaces but we ran out of time

Small World's ideas are really good. Some of the things I've seen that work:

Have a table with an activity as soon as they arrive - that way they are immediately occupied. How about Disney princess printouts for them to colour in?

Raid the poundshop for pass-the-parcel prizes. Ensure each layer has a mini prize or sweets.

If you are feeling creative, you can buy Disney princess cake toppers for fairy cakes from ebay (about £1) and either buy or make some fairy cakes and stick these on.

At least Kyra won't be short of a dress to wear to her party.:rotfl:

We found Food boxes on Ebay shaped like Cinderellas carriage so they had their food in this

As Joolz says having something to occupy them is really worth it which is when we made the crowns

I also had boxes instead of party bags which were a bit like treasure chests. They had jewellry and sweet necklaces etc in them. I'll try and think of what else we did

I already had the colouring activity sorted..great minds think alike :rotfl2:

I've brought the plates, cups etc and stuff for the party bags.

My friend is making Kyra's cake, but i like the cake topper things on some cupcakes or something.

I just hope 6 four year olds don't trash my mums house :lmao:

The cake toppers were really good. I bought them from a seller called capurecake. They are currently selling 24 for £1.99 with free delivery. You need to ice the cakes before you put the toppers on. The white icing makes the colours on the sugar paper more vivid.

They could also make wands. You could have stars already pre-cut and shiny bits and pieces to stick on.

Thanks Joolz, i'll go have a look now.:thumbsup2
