I just got an e-mail from my sister..my nephew, age 6 wanted to know if I knew Elvis was dead. 
This reminded me of when my DS and another nephew were about 5 or 6 and heavily into Davy Crockett (wore coonskin caps everywhere and carried toy replicas of "old Betsy") My DS was asking about the Alamo and I reminded him that was where Davy Crockett died. My nephew quickly said, "you mean Davy Crockett is dead???" I felt terrible and told my brother I was sorry, but didn;t realize he didn't know.
