What about Wolfgang Pucks Cafe and Planet Hollywood and some of the signature restaurants?
Unless I am mistaken, the signature restaurants have appetizers for children. They may look more like side dishes because of the way the Disney menus are set up.
WPC and Planet Hollywood are not owned by Disney and may not have the same type of menu. At any rate, you'd have to ask when you get there, as children are required to order from the children's menu if there is one.
The CMs will be really tested and even us "informed" guests will see/hear some things we'd rather not.
Your question was Deluxe DP specific. Keep in mind the only difference between the Basic and Deluxe plan is you get more food, not different food, different service or different ADR priority. I think some get a little confused by the term Deluxe and think there are "extras or perks" with the plan. I almost think Disney should consider changing the name. I'd love to have a nickel for everytime a CM at the podium hears, "but I'm on the Deluxe plan so..." It's going to be a hot summer at Disney for more than one reason. The CMs will be really tested and even us "informed" guests will see/hear some things we'd rather not.
. I explained the two dining plans to her and she went back and told them again. She then came back and said the B-I-L had done his own research they wouldn't need ADRs with the DDP (since they would be getting automatic priority seating
), so they weren't making any. Of course, according to the B-I-L's reasearch the basic plan still includes appetizers and tips.

That is just not with the DxDDP though. I have a friend who's sister is going to WDW for the their first time in July. She asked me for some tips for them. I told her to make sure they made ADRs. She told them, then came back and told me that the B-I-L said they didn't need ADRs because they were going to be on the DDP, so could get into any restaurant they wanted without a reservation. They plan on doing alot of character meals including CRT, Chef Mickey's, and Akershus. I explained the two dining plans to her and she went back and told them again. Might like to be a fly on the wall at their first attempt to get into a character meal. Could you suggest to the friend to suggest to the sister that she (the sister) call anyway and make some surreptitious ADRs and when the brother-in-law's plan gets them turned away from restaurants on the first day, they'll have someplace to go?
That still won't help when they get to the point where he gets the bill for the appetizers and the tip.
.ADR'a are required on Deluxe Dining Plan
Appetizer and dessert included on Deluxe, but tip is ADDITIONAL!!!
Wow, DH needs to be enlightened!
